(Most of the times these deals aren't so hot, it's mostly directed to those up & coming new business and ty craftmanship. GF went to a spa, get her nails done and message. The lady who was working on her nails, normally don't do nails (she's a masseuse) and unfortunately she cut my GF's finger while trying to cut her cuticles.
LOL GF asked me two week prior, if I wanted the mobile Water'less Car Wash, retail $300 and the deal was $50 <--- Yeah right!)
Abercrombie
http://dealpage.ca/ and dealradar.com are two pages I glance at every now and then... they both put all the deals on one page.
There has been a couple of deals in the past that I'm kicking myself for not taking, like interior car shampoo and detailing, but unfortunately 2/3 of all the deals on these sites are for girly things

Remove Background: Jailbreak App To Free Up Memory Gets iOS 4.1 Support
Jailbreak app - Remove Background has been updated for iOS 4.1.
Remove Background is a useful jailbreak app if you are struggling to keep up with the growing number of iPhone apps running in the background as it allows you to remove them from the task switcher in on go.
rono23, the developer of Remove Background has recently updated it to support iOS 4.1. He has also added new features to the app since we last wrote about it.
You can now select the apps that should not be closed by Remove Background, which is useful as you don’t want some apps like an instant messenger
app that you typically want to be running in the background to be closed.
You should also install the SBSettings toggle called Remove Background SBSettings (RemoveBG) from the Cydia App Store as it gives you faster access to the feature.
As always, let us know if you found this jailbreak app useful in the comments below.

Ever been irritated that you can't use your device while it's synching with iTunes?
Synchronicity in the Cydia store uses the above prompt instead of locking you out. Well worth it for $2!

3G Unrestrictor Updated & Fixed 2.3.1-1
3G Unrestrictor allows you to go around the iPhone's limitations and restrictions of not being able to use some applications like FaceTime, Skype or SlingPlayer while on a mobile internet connection like 3G or EDGE as well as many other things.
It allows those things by tricking applications into believing they are on WiFi, even though they are on 3G or EDGE.
Features
•Works with almost all applications (check the verified apps list to see which apps DEFINITELY work)
•SBSettings toggle: Quickly enable and disable whether apps should be unrestricted
•Can detect when application might be trying to check whether they are on 3G and ask whether you want to unrestrict them(disabled by default)
•Easy to use interface where you select apps that should be unrestricted
Changelog
•Fixed incoming call problems for FaceTime on 3G
EDIT: I've tested and 3G Unrestrictor is back to normal. FaceTime over 3G calling, incoming and outgoing calls working w/o any types of walk arounds.

I've been using an accessibility setting on my phone called 'white on black'. It just inverts the colour of the screen but you can bind it to triple-clicking the home button. Useful for reading in low light and it makes the sms screen look nifty. Only on 3gs and newer iPhone models.

Apple to Double Size of North Carolina Data Center?
As Apple prepares for the opening of its new 500,000 square-foot data center in North Carolina, there is talk of Apple doubling the size of the facility. Apple has yet to reveal exactly how it intends to use the site, but it is already five times the size of the facility in Newark, California. The massive server farm has not yet gone online and already there is speculation as to the sight having enough capacity for Apple’s future plans.
At last week’s special event, Apple unveiled the latest incarnations of the MacBook Air. Apple is touting these new machines as the future of computing and they may well be positioning these new models as a demonstration of what is to come. Apple has eliminated the traditional hard drive in favor of flash storage with these new models.
It would seem that Apple intends to do away with bulky hard drives, in favor of slimmer flash storage that don’t require large housings. Flash drives are not yet available in capacities as large as traditional hard drives, for now at least. If Apple intends to have new Macs rely more and more on cloud-based computing, then large data centers like the one in North Carolina become something of a necessity.
Before the latest 11-inch MacBook Air came out, I would never have considered buying a computer with such little storage capacity. If Apple does continue to invest in the cloud, as it seems to be doing in North Carolina, large storage devices will no longer be necessary in modern laptop computers. If Apple hopes to get more people to rely on cloud computing, it would benefit everyone if reliable high-speed Wi-Fi were made available everywhere. Google attempted to wire San Francisco a few years ago, but was shot down before the plan could be put into effect.
Apple has stated that it will be opening a Mac Version of the App store in the next 90 days. Reliability is key to the success of this strategy and the data center in North Carolina may already be at capacity, at least theoretically. It only makes sense for a company as large as Apple with huge amounts of available cash to hedge its bets and plan for a successful future. After all, if the last few quarters are any indication, Apple will continue to bring in the profits.
At some point, however, I hope the entertainment industry will loosen up and sign licensing deals with Apple allowing them to put the iTunes store into the cloud. If this new data center is any indication, Apple is preparing something big. What would you do with that many servers if you were Apple?

Security flaw allows calls (and more) from a locked iPhone running iOS 4.1
Blog 9to5Mac has picked up on an interesting bug in iOS 4.1, running on the iPhone, that will allow users to bypass the device’s lock screen and make phone calls. From a locked iPhone pressing the “Emergency Call” button, dialing a non-emergency number (such as “###”), then quickly pressing “Send” followed by the iPhone’s lock key will actually force the device into the “Phone” application. From there you can access favorites, contacts, the dial pad, recent calls, and voicemails. The “home” button remains inactive throughout the process, preventing users from jumping to the home screen, however… going to the “contacts” tab, selecting a contact, and clicking “Email” or “Share contact” will allow a bypasser to send emails and MMS messages.
The issue is reminiscent of a bug in Motorola’s BLUR interface that allows users to make calls using voice actions from a locked screen we told you about last week. We’ve passed the information on to Apple and, hopefully, a fix is included in the next software update. We have a short video demonstrating the bug after the break.

No custom ringtones for Windows Phone 7? Really?
Maybe they want to brand the sound of the phone until everyone knows about it.
The moment you hear of these tones, you know someone in the area has an iPhone or Blackberry.
