how can it make it easier? even more chaos for ppl
Imagine, 100000X calls to the call centres for handful of units and major lines up for stores that have zero units in stock on launch day.
when you only get 5, it's five units ... regardless where you shift them to sell.
All the carriers did the right thing for this launch. If you wanted the IP4 that bad, you should of line up on launch day. |

How could it be easier? Have online ordering that's how. No need to call in to a CSR and tie up the lines. |

Really? Wow I don't think you saw what happen to Apple & AT&T servers on preorder day, 5 mins both networks died. Even Engadget, BGR and TiPB tried for hours and got nothing.
Ppl who also failed with preorders, lined up for 24+ hrs and Apple didn't even help them.
Remember the States had 1.7 million units that weekend, we didn't even come close with our shipment. |

Do you realize it was a 17 country launch that day? It wasn't just Canada's IP4 launch lol
One more thing you don't realize, if Roger's Sale Central (Activation) crash with every iPhone launch for the past 3 yrs for 4hrs + ... how are they gotta handle any type of online pre-orders? |

Correct, the SQ1 location got some in today. I have to go to Erin Mills so I might stop by the fido store along with wireless wave just to see, even tho I already know the answer.
If anything I might go early Saturday and see what happens. I have nothing better to do :P |

You can blame the media's reports on this antenna issue, they had to act fast to prove things are not what it seems. They combined almost two launches in one for last friday.

I driving through Albany, NY on the weekend and the Apple Store there had tons in stock.
It looks like they are spoon feeding you on purpose here. Perhaps minimizing the bitchers and complainers. |
