The jailbreak apps are available for free on Cydia. You can follow these instructions to install them on your jailbroken iPhone:
•Launch Cydia from your jailbroken iPhone’s homescreen.
•Tap on the Search tab and search for five.
•Tap on Five Icon Dock and then on the ‘Install’ button to install it on your iPhone.
•Once it's installed and you've reloaded the springboard, you'll be able to add a fifth iPhone app to the iPhone dock.
•Go back to the search results and tap on Five Icon Switcher and then on the ‘Install’ button to install it on your iPhone.
•Once it's installed, you’ll see five apps in the task switcher.

UPDATE (August 21, 2010, 1:30 PM) iPhone 4 stock at Rogers stores has sold out. Regular shipments are coming in from Apple, so we’ll update this post again once more stock is available. In the meantime, you may want to check Apple retail stores to see if iPhone 4s are in stock.
(Costco in Etobicoke got 15 units in yesterday, give them a ring before you go)
Yikes, reports are coming in about Apple's OEM Bumpers getting stretched out of shape. Ppl are taking them on/off daily for God knows what reasons ... Common sense, it's like a elastic band, sooner or later it's gonna get loose.
I use to do that with my cases on the 3G, cleaning the 3G daily to avoid dust going into the unit and screen. For the IP4; I don't see the reason for this, since the screen + LCD + digitizer is now glued together.

Someone w/o a Data plan, pls test this out for me ...
Launch any type of apps or services that require a data connection and let me know if it works.
From what I found out today, Rogers is automaticly data blocking accounts that don't have a data plan. Even if you want to use the pay per use method, you have to call in.
Thanks
Tried this on my boss's iPhone3G, it gives you a warning SMS and nothing happens when your trying to access an app that needs data. It just loads nonstop and nothing happens, tried on 2G and 3G mode.

Apple: Security, Piracy and Carrier Locks
Jailbreaking Community: Carrier unlocks, customization and lifting Apple's limitations.
If this hits the courts; the best was to solve the issue in fair game, Dev Team and the community continue to do what they do but, they got to help patch up the security holes and make sure all the general public dumb ass monronic users are safe from hackers. Ban all repos containing "you know what" to allow cracked apps to sync. Apple, on their side of the deal, should allow carrier unlock for all users, after a certain period of the customers contracts and what not.
I doubt it will even go that far...

Google Mobile app for iPhone gets push notifications
Today, Google announced that their Google Mobile App for Apple’s iPhone will be push notification compliant. Google Mobile will be able to push Google Calendar and Gmail notifications to your device and offers a handy quiet-time feature; for when you would prefer not to see or hear notifications. Google also boasts that the new code allows you to “go get you information faster — when looking for flight info, weather, stock quotes or currency conversions.” The new application is in the App Store now. Check it out and let us know what you think.

I got my free case :) (ordered it the second day after release and it was suppose to take 6-8 weeks)
It's not too bad - although still patiently waiting for uncommon to release their new cases

I've been using this app while on vacation in the maritimes this summer. I'd only recommend it if you have a decent data plan. Do not use it if you have the 500mb plan unless you use it only when you need it.
It's a free GPS app with traffic reports. I had it on my iphone for a while now waiting for the community to boom, and it's finally picking up speed.

IP4 3G Speed Test
Downtown Core
Northern Scarborough
Speaking of Data, the IP4 is a "Cookie Monsta". 9th day into my fresh billing cycle and I'm already @ 225/500 MB. I'll take a hit if I go over my limit, $0.03/ MB and 100 MB will be $3.00.
They just pushed out an update for this app. You can now stream at 256kbps if you have a premium account. Time to start using a lot of data on my plan haha.
The premium streams only work on WiFi, so if you want to use them on 3G, you have to jailbreak.
Tested this and it uses ALMOST 2mb per minute on the 256kbps stream.
