My EPP has expired last yr, there’s a new ver that came out and only offered in Customer Relations (AKA Rentention - I hate that word, no one is cancelling and Rogers ain’t retaining ) No need to bitch and complain.

Sucks I'd get locked for 3 years for the EPP... I still like my month to month freedom.
Perhaps the AP3NCOD code will come back for the $30 6GB plan, as that would be the only deal I'd take, and I won't have to worry about wifi anywhere I go (except outside Canada).
edit: but then again... if they secure me for 3yrs, maybe I can get the iphone 3GS for $199, and turn it around and sell it for $450 (going craigslist rate)

AP3NCON is the walk around for BIS, switching from BB to iPhone w/ your sim. You don't need it for your iPhone alone.
Contract and HUP is two diff things. Why would you even think of getting a 3GS as a HUP, when we are steps away from the 4th gen? If you get the any data device, prepaid to sign a 3yr contract w/ DP & VP.
Found out there's a $15/150 mb, only offered within the customer relations dept, 3 yr contract. IMO 150 mb aint enuff, 250 is proper!
I do about 345mb.
Emailing, MSN + many other IM, RSS Feeds, Facebook, Kijij, Ebay and TWN. Now add Surfing on MSG boards w/ Opera Mini
Browsing and Youtube is for wifi only.

I see you edited out the pay per use rate :) This is a pissoff... I called about unblocking data so I can use my MMS again, and they said it's no use as they took away the .05 per kb. I'm prolly going to complain about this once the 4G comes out like you said. They can't take away something I previously had and enjoyed, even at 50c per MMS when I did use it (my sony phone before my 2G). I don't believe they can remove a feature, and force to upgrade... I understand these things are normally grandfathered, but not removed unilaterally?

When some one leaves me a voice mail, instead of me calling my voice mail to listen to it, which I still can, I get a text message that interprets the voice into text. Its called "spinvox"

What are you talking about? Your terms are all over the maps.
MMS & data is two diff things.
Without a plan ...
Data is still $0.05 / KB
MMS is still $0.50 / MSG
MMS is MMS, has nothing to do with data. You most likely had a level 2 block.
Your insane to unblock the data from your account w/o a data plan. The iPhone uses like 43kb each boot up and most likely each time your email, AppStore and others while it fetches an looking for updates.

Regarding my plan, it's long gone now and none of the reps on any dept can apply to any account. Rogers just renamed it "unlimited", but there is a softcap of 10,000 txt & mms. I try to kill my txt msging, but only can hit the 1700/10,000 MSGs per month.
There's a reason why I made that Rogers Data Value Plan thread when it came out. I knew the window was gonna be only opened short while, didn't realize it was a month only.
