Need advice:
Today something was up with my iPhone so I decided to do a hard reset... then blam! Like usual a whole lotta code went whizzing by but instead of booting up, the code stops and the phone turns off. Now I tried to see the last line of code, but it's so fast that all I could read was some kind of error "fsck failed".
It's been jailbroken with redsnow and the op system is 3.1.2. It's been running flawlessly since 3.1.2 came out and jailbroken. Here at work I tried to run redsnow 0.9.4. When it tells me to do a hard reset before it can continue the phone boots up as usual, but that error forces it to shut down, so redsnow didn't know the phone was on yet so that it could continue.
Any advice is welcomed. |

I'd restore using iTunes and then re-jailbreak. You may as well upgrade to 3.1.3 while you're at it, since Spirit is now available. However, I'm rather new to the whole iPhone scene so others may have different advice to offer. |

I'm worried that unless the computer sees the usb connection, nothing will happen no matter what I use. |

My suggestion ... Enter in DFU mode
Restore to 3.1.2 (given you've backed up your SHSH files) & jailbreak w/ Spirit
or
3.1.3 (no unlocking) & jailbreak w/ Spirit |
