Just CF'ed one of my iPhones (minus the front pieces)
Will be getting one of these cases for the 4th gen iPhone when it's time.
EDIT: Some ppl are reporting signal lost from the case, won't be getting it anymore

| I got an ultra thin Incipio case last month in black matte. Paint started peeling/scratching off a week later. Looks like now. Keep away from Incipio cases. |

Your were careless w/ how you placed it in your pockets. GF's first case was peeling like that. I've examined it carefully and figured out the problem ...
She kept putting the phone into a pocket with a big metal button in front, any case with that kind of beating and scarping will peel, even the Incase Sliders.
Got her a new one and told her to place it in a pocket away from any type of metal objects. Now, no peeling at all and still looks brand new after 9 months of usage.
I've had mine over a year now and still looks amazingly new.
It's all common sense :)

The reason I got the case it to protect my iPhone, first and foremost. It would be reduntant to protect my case, otherwise I'd get a case protector case to protect my case :P :rolleyes: :haha:
I do appreciate the black matte rubbery grip, but it's the rubbery aspect of the paint that makes it come off with a flick of the finger nail.

OMG ... WTF dude?
My GF's case was peeling by the vol buttons area (the very thin strip area) from that metal button of her pocket.
Where did you place your case?
Any metal buttons to scrape the case itself?
I would email Incipio about this, could be a defect |

I just keep it in my left front pocket, without any keys or coins or anything else.
Notice the paint rubs off a lot at the bottom of where my left thumb goes (lower right side of the picture)... that's just pure skin to paint wear.

I vote defect, I'm always on my phone nonstop ... no peeling on mine.
I've read somewhere, this dude's case cracked for no reason. Incipio sent him a new one. |

OK, I just looked at their site, and it seems exchanging it is a pain in the butt.
