Ok so I'm not liking this Opera so far...
Yah it's faster but the font size is microscopic until you zoom in...
And yes I have it set to large font...
And I'm not sure I trust them with my banking info since everything goes through their own servers...
I only mainly use my browser for banking and TA anyway so do I really want this??? |

Dont use it for banking.
"However, the features also bypasses SSL security, making it undesirable for accessing banking information."
I'm using OM for forums on the go. We all know forums like TA burns so much data.
I wish they've turned on predective spelling, time to do my typing on the note pad & copy & paste it over |

Carrier 3022880 is Bell.
Bellus are sharing towers for their HSPA networks, East is Bell and West is Telus. Talk about Ghetto

Even with the shared towers, Telus still suffer from infamous random number SMS convo. Failed SMS delivery of inter-carrier msg, example Telus to Rogers
*Meaning if your SMSing a friend, a random msg will get someone else number, thats not your friend ... but the txt msg thats made is your friend's*

Yeah that was one of my many beef before, but every year a new iphone comes out and your warrenty covers any batt life damages. Minimium storage now is 16GB, they're selling the 3G ver to those ghetto low budget ppl, so it doesnt count as this yr's model.
Next year will indeed have a 64GB. I hope more, but that's not their style.
Even if there is an iPhone for Verizon, do you really want still? The world has moved forward and CDMA is CDMA. Cant really travel with it unless you want to roam it
EDIT: Forgot to mention, the iPhone's Batt charges amazingly fast and smooth. |
For two reasons, I would rock the CDMA iPhone if it came out this fall. But if it doesn't it depends what the Windows 7 Phones are looking like....and if those don't knock me out, it's AT&T iPhone.
One, I've made two bad decisions with my last two phones, primarily based on VZW giving it to me for $499 -- the Q and the Storm.
Second, I don't travel all that much, so in the light of making up for my last to bad calls, I'd deal with the CDMA iPhone. |

My SMS works fine with my 2G.
In regards to Opera, yeas it's fast... but also like Vdub, the font size is . The windows are not smooth expanding like Safari, and too easy to over-size or under-size. The double-tap zoom works better to achieve a readable view though. |

There will never be a CDMA iPhone, sadly. Any other carrier serious about their infrastructure has moved to more cost-effective and standardized GSM-equipped means. Apple won't manufacture entirely new hardware for a single TelCo, no matter how vast their client base may be. |

They did for China Unicom, it's a WCDMA unit w/ stripped Wifi. (Which flopped bigtime)
Jer did you ever tried the re-locking method from Rogers to Telus on your spare 3G? Ppl are claiming Rogers to Bell not working. |

That's strange, to the best of my knowledge CU is GSM-EDGE.. Could you be thinking China Telecom? If so, that's hilarious that they'd do it. Gross.
Also, I haven't tried but I'm not entirely shocked as carriers would have a fit if people were bouncing between subsidized hardware that expensive. |
