2am waiting y0!
ATT always has phones for NON pre-order people that wait in line. I always end up getting one of those after I sit in line for a few hours... |
When I ordered my 3G on launch day, they delivered it to my door the next day...
This time around, I'll have my IP4 waiting for me at my buddies store...
Lines are 4 suckers......
(unless you're buying multiple to sell...) |

You know me so well.
I have a corporate discount on my plan, so I am forced only to go to the ATT store. I that bed and didn't pre order so i have to wait in line.
I'm going conservative and only getting 3 this time around. |

| Pretty sure I saw somebody on the Go Train today with an iphone4. I have not see any other phone in pictures, or in person that looks like it. The guy was old and geeky looking, so I'm gonna saw I actually saw it in the wild. |

The Cydia guys were right about Winterboard and mobilesubstrate
Reinstalled Winterboard for testing and the unit is running super fast ... for now. Overtime, the mobilesubstrate extension it uses seems to have a memory leak and unistalling it / reinstalling it won't help. |

How does one reserve an iphone 4?
Ive never done this. Can I call now and ask for one or do I have to wait for the release date then call and order one? |

You have to wait for it to be released in Canada and the date hasn't been announced yet, although it's likely early July. Once the pre-order date is announced, you can buy it off of the Apple Canada site on that day or go to an Apple Store. Some other carriers may launch it at their stores that day as well, but nothings 100% yet. |

So it has to be done through Apple store or with my carrier Rogers? Is there an advantage of one over the other? |

If you buy in the Apple Store online, the phone is unlocked and not tied to any carrier, therfore you have to pay the full cost (probably around $700). If you buy from Rogers, it's tied to them, and you will need a contract. This will make it cheaper to buy, obviously, if you sign a new 2 or 3 year contract with them.
This is my understanding of it all at least. If I'm wrong, please correct me. |
