anyone else having Rogers BB data network drama right now?

Finally got my 3GS (32GB) today. Since all FIDO's are out of stock, I decided to go to the Apple Store at Yorkdale. They had a load of them and I got mine for free with a 3 year contract. I had 300 FIDO dollars and the unit was about 270 I think.

Bingo, that's how you do it.
HUP Method: Call into Roger / Fido - Tell them to make a note on your account that you'll be going into Apple to grab one. AppleStore rep will do the HUP for you and you'll be walking out w/ a 3GS
It's really common sense, ppl who ordered through Rogers are still waiting to get their's and it's been 2.5 months.

The guy set up the FIDO stuff in the store right away and activated the phone. Now I'm screwing around with the thing.
I hate the mp3 player. There's no slidebar so I can skip over mid way in a 2hr set. Isn't there another mp3 player that's better?

There was definitely a serious Rogers outage last night in the downtown core. After leaving work and heading to exhibition station, I thought it was just the cell tower I was beside. But, as I got on the train and headed to Sauga, the problem persisted. It lasted a good 20 minutes, and I could not make any calls, or receive texts, 3g. Gave the phone a reboot, and cleared the network settings but still no go.
Came back around 730 for me.
So cool that there is a uTorrent control app. Too bad I use rTorrent now, but still, great work by the development team.
