How's it working out? I went and installed the blackrain one a couple of days ago for 3.1.2. Even though I should follow under the tethered predicament, I'm scared to hard reset just in case. |

Name one iTunes app or Cydia app that's cracked and hosted on Cydia? I'm talking OEM state, Adding repos do not count.
Think about it, even Cydia has paid apps .. the ones in blue text. Even they want you to help and support the DEVs that got rejected from the Appstore.
Also, you really think Del wants ppl talking about pirated media on his board? Look at the download threads, none of them are from ripped mp3s of CDs and Albums. |

without cydia you dont have repos supporting pirated apps.
And im sure theres a lot of other things said on this forum that are illegal as well... Easy up there Ipolice. |

Your not paying attention are you? OEM state only, repos dont count. Adding repos are upto you, they even warn you about "one" repo that has illegal content and they won't stop you from using it.
Plus you dont even need "that" repo, back in the days you had to manually hack it, patch it and mod it to get cracked apps to sync up on iTunes. Yes, there are repos with paid Cydia cracked apps, but ...
Once again its upto you to add it and its the OEM state of Cydia, therefore Cydia is not illegal nor is it distributing cracked software from iTunes or Cydia itself. |

3.1.3 and thee WARNING!
At 10.30AM PST on February 2nd 2010 Apple released the 3.1.3 version (7E18) of the iPhoneOS.
If you care about your jailbreak and unlock, don’t update your device - 3G and 3G(S) owners should pay particular attention to this warning.
PwnageTool and redsn0w are not yet compatible with 3.1.3
There is no estimated release time for compatible tools (please don’t bug us about this).

| So if I may ask. I'm running a JB'd 3.1.2 system. Do I still have to worry about this tethered reset crap if I use the new Redsnow 0.9 and my 3GS phone's serial is 86932****** ? |
