Here's a question...
If Apple makes 30% off of paid apps, how much do they make on free ones??
Also, how much does Cydia make from their sales?? |

Bloomberg reports that Apple filed a lawsuit against Amazon on March 18th over their use of the “App Store” trademark. Amazon has been using the term “App Store” since January as the name for their developer portal. Amazon is also launching an Android web-based App Store.
Amazon.com since January has started to solicit developers for a future mobile software download service, Apple said. Amazon.com has used “Amazon Appstore Developer Portal” and “Amazon Appstore” in connection with this service, according to the complaint.
The lawsuit also covers some “unspecified damages” and Amazon is yet to comment on the lawsuit. For those interested in the case, the official title is_Apple v. Amazon.com, 11-1327, U.S. District Court, Northern District of_California.
Apple, of course, created their mobile application store in 2008 called the “App Store.” Apple also has had the “Mac App Store” term since October 2010, with the store launching January 6, 2011. We’ll be sure to let you know how this all plays out as details emerge. |

This is what I did to get rid of the GM choppiness when restoring to the public ver of iOS 4.3
1) enter Recovery mode & Hit restore
2) restore from previous backup
3) sync and back up the "new" backup and rename your device and sync again
4) enter Recovery mode and restore again
5) restore from the newest back up made previously, not the oringial backup.
It's not as smooth as 4.2.1, but a lot better ... May take you a few restores, took me 3x.

WE STRONGLY RECOMMEND that you download this update via iTunes and then sync your iPhone or iPod touch. You can install updates directly to your device but the process will take approximately 25 MINUTES and may appear to stall for several minutes during this process and again when you sync back to your computer. We are required by Apple to supply a full copy of the application for each update. While updates are large downloads, the advantage is that all departure times are available without an internet connection and can be searched for quickly.
