I remember AT&T deployed voicemail to txt awhile ago. Didn't know Rogers would have it also.
I wish I can kill my VP, since I don't use it anymore and use the pay per usage thing.
Gotcha!
The text voice mail thing is pretty cool, and funny when it gets some words wrong! I have a few hilarious ones saved. My name is always Bob or Ron when it converts it.
I now have a tenancy to never call my voice mail anymore, until I get a message saying mailbox full! lol

I had a feeling the iPad could be used for this ... or even had CDJ or old vinyl UI
Swiss team claims they're coming out w/ a jailbreak & unlock for the 3GS - 3.1.3 w/ baseband 05.12.01 on April 23 2010

@CSV_01 I've commented enough on his earlier posts :) It's 100% "swiss power!" fake :) Now he just seems to want everyone to know his bday http://twitter.com/MuscleNerd/status/12151833349

MMS & data is two diff things.
Without a plan ...
Data is still $0.05 / KB
MMS is still $0.50 / MSG
MMS is MMS, has nothing to do with data. You most likely had a level 2 block.
Your insane to unblock the data from your account w/o a data plan. The iPhone uses like 43kb each boot up and most likely each time your email, AppStore and others while it fetches an looking for updates.
I know! but I'm not all over the map, lol.
What I explained is exactly what Rogers iPhone tech support said, I'm not confused or kidding you.
She very clearly explained that that data has been discontinued on a per use basis, and that for any smartphone, a data plan is MANDATORY in order to use MMS. I would have loved to record the call for you if I could.
I didn't unblock yet btw :)

"I'm not all over the map"
"Perhaps the AP3NCOD code will come back for the $30 6GB plan, as that would be the only deal I'd take, and I won't have to worry about wifi anywhere I go (except outside Canada)."
Your not suppose to know about AP3NCON, reg CSR can't talk about it and their not suppose to add it for you. It can only be done through the data dept, which ppl had such a horrible time trying to get them add it on. *This applies to all carriers, my buddy at Telus asked me how I know about that walkaround. (google it)*
Like I said before; its not $30/6GB plan, it's a walk around to gain access to BIS, for ppl who want to use a iPhone and BB
You should know the rules, every CSRs you talk to are never wrong and they have their own theory for everything.
All you have to do is call again later and speak w/ someone else.
I've skooled so many CSRs, made them all nervous trying to explain things to me.
In your case, first thing you do before calling them is take that sim card out of the iPhone and place it into a cheese phone. Your account doesnt have a reg IMEI that belongs to an iPhone. So when they look your account up while your on the phone, they won't see your iphone.
They would love for ppl to use Data @ 0.05/kb, average user on the iPhone uses about 15mbs a day and that equals to $75.00 @ that rate. You can get Txt msg & MMS as an add-on ...
EDIT: Found out for this to work, you need to change your APN settings if you want MMS to work w/o a data plan. "Browser Provisioning" is what the carrier systems needs and changing the APN is what your phone needs. MMS uses WAP for the comunication "data". Thanks to my buddy @ Telus for clearing this up.
^ That explains why unlimited mobile browsing and MMS is included for most carriers, hence Roger's "Vision" package.
I understand why Apple didn't care about MMS, the entire world has moved forward w/ emailing. All devices have data, emailing (push or fetch) and etc.

Also you should NEVER tell any CSR to add some plan or feature by the codes, those codes are for internal use only and general public shouldn't know about them.
It's had happened before, some big shot tells the CSR to add this and that by codes. Their account gets flagged as "insider", and all future calls their gonna place will result as "not helpful" between them and the CSRs.
AP3NCON is diff, only can be used through the data dept throughout all carriers.

Although its pretty neat, I agree.
The last two or three years, pioneer cdj's out sold guitars in north America. WTF?
Not to mention the halt of production of the 1200's.
If I had disposable income, Id in buy an ipad, and Id probably in try that in the video too. :)
