Get the blackberry, then just call up ur carrier and they will just disassociate the BIS from the BlackBerry, Zero out the PIN then set you up on a new Rogers BIS or whatever

grabbed BBM 5.0 yesterday, loving it, really user friendly, very msn messenger like.
I can't even get the thing installed on my Storm! Been trying for over an hour now... followed all the instructions on the walkthru too... Could be because i'm trying to do this at work and there is restrictions on new hardware and crap and I keeping getting hardware failed to load whenever I plug it it. But I can still synch and back up and ...
Ahh well, anyways, on the BBM 5.0 tip... been getting tons of issues with it, many people calling in saying it's crashing their BB, which we can't do anything because they did the BETA upgrade on their own and essentially voided their warranty and crap

Ok figured it out, you gotta move the alx files and the cod files to wherever the Device Software is located on your machine and overwrite them and it tricks DTM into thinking it's the correct files, the previous instructions about browsing using Application Loader to the alx file don't work.
Simply navigate to the site using your BB Browser and click the appropriate device to download BBM 5.0. There is english and multilanguage available.
Follow the prompts on your device and it will install BBM 5.0 Over The Air (OTA), confirm the replacing of files, let the device reboot and tada! You got BBM 5.0.
REMEMBER TO BACK UP YOUR DEVICE FIRST! At least the BlackBerry Messanger database!
It's pretty swanky! Oh and the new Desktop Manager 5.0 is also available to download there and on the BlackBerry.com website (But it's pretty much the same as v4.7)

yeah thats what i did, i couldnt get DM to recognize the app via uploader, so I overwrote the files in program files/common/RIM/etc....worked like a charm

Quick App 3.0: NAVIGON MobileNavigator for iPhone North America
Coming in a few hrs ... go get it from the "source" tomorrow morning. TomTom better hurry up, ppl wont wait too long for you.
EDIT: While all these navigation maps are coming out, you indeed need a car charger .... all phones will last only 3-4hrs while running Navigation.
*DO NOT get any 3rd party car chargers unless it's aprroved by Apple. Go to the AppleStore, Walmart or Best Buy, most of them ... like one I got from PMALL will overheat your iphone and discharge / drain your batt when it's fully charged at 100% (ironicly I bought the most expensive charger from pmall lol Lots of chargers from major retailer will do this also*
