YAY, I just traded my Fido white 3GS for a mint black Rogers 3GS.
They guy turned out to work at an Apple store, and he's got plenty of Fido customers needing to trade their accidentally upgraded OS phones, lol.
Anyways, I popped my SIM chip and it's was good to go.
Before I restore my 2G stuff to this one, I'll thinking of trying the blackrain and snowbreeze (http://www.redmondpie.com/sn0wbreez...e-3g-3gs-3.1.3/) jailbreaks and see how it goes. |

| Is it ever, after the Firmware Spoof thing messed up the phone I tried to jailbreak my 3GS using the dev-team stuff with 3.1.3, it worked but it wouldn't boot. Now I'm back at 3.1.2... |

Ya thats what i hear.
My friend that works for Verizon said that they are moving to a sim based format this year. So it looks like it could still happen.

I think he is saying the new iphones might be equipped to take the new micro sim as opposed to the normal sized one. Canadian Carriers dont use them yet.
Ipad with 3g uses one. |
