My venture into an iPhone clone went to sh!t. The M89 I got was very buggy, and bricked itself. As it was my replacement for the first one who didn't recharge, my craigslist dealer, Jay (easily found), has been great and offered me a refund. Nice guy. I'm seeing him in the next week.
So now I am looking to see if anyone is upgrading their real iPhone to a faster one.
I'm not looking for 3G, just a cool phone with WiFi. That's all I need. I'm ok with just using hotspots (until data plan prices come down). So if you got an old jailbroken and loaded iPhone or about to upgrade, I may be interested. Prices must be comparible others on cragslist. Thanks! |
No HUP for me until Sept, whatever the pricing Rogers gives me for the new unit that's how much I'm selling this iPhone3G. If it's $199.99 so be it ... $199.99 it is |

Yup... sub-$200 is what I'm looking at. Since Apple dropped their prices last week, I'd like to take advantage of the flood of older iPhones about to hit the used market. I'm still month-to-month with my plan, and likely won't go on another plan until the competition officially moves into the market. |

Im not impressed with that...iPhone has beejive, just wait for the new wave of 3.0 apps for the iPhone. Tom Tom GPS anyone?
BB are boring phones that are good for business only. |
First of all beejive STARTED on blackberries.
Second of all new wave of 3.0 will just include compass features, which seem kind of pointless, since GPS can do all of that anyway.
Third of all GPS navigation has been on blackberries for years already.
Fourth of all you are retarded.

Just upgraded my iPhone 3G plan adding the 6GB promo plan, and saved $5 a month actually haha.
They had to break up my plan with a separate voice section and data section (I had them bundled), but my voice section is pretty much the exact same. The rep even asked me if I had the 3.0 OS installed and that I am able to do tethering on the network now, so they aren't hiding it which is good. |
They didn't give you any hassle upgrading even though you were an existing customer? I've on hold now, waiting to change. |

The 6GB promo plan is for all existing iPhone users, as well as new iPhone users, until July 31st 2009. |

Well got the 6GB plan, but had to give up my unlimited network calling :(
I use data way more than calling anyways, so its not a huge loss. I am in front of a phone fro 9-5, so i can just use that instead of my wireless.
At least i can use streaming radio stations now. |

3.0 JAILBREAK IS OUT!! MAC ONLY FOR NOW!!
This is the low down on our tools for use with the 3.0 firmware from Apple, read the whole post in full before attempting anything. Because of some bugs and unexpected changes this will be a multipart release, starting with the release of PwnageTool for Mac OS X. QuickPwn for Mac OS X and Windows will follow sometime soon, please don’t bug us about it, we are working flat out to get everything finished to release them.

Yeah that's why I didn't care about that either. I'm at work all day and can't talk on my cell anyway, same as most other people, so talking during the day isn't a huge thing, and I have 350day time minutes just incase. If someone wants something, they usually text. My plan is free after 6pm weekdays/unlimited weekends, so it's perfect for me. |

| Hunting down a custom firmware 3.0 for Rogers .... AT&T vers are made, but won't work with ours. |

I just noticed that in my iPhone settings there's now a notifications button that wasn't there this morning. I guess Rogers enabled it this afternoon.
You can turn push notifications on or off for all apps, or turn it on and off for specific apps that have the push function. |
