Our good buddy George Ponder over at sibling site WMExperts tells us Microsoft Windows Live Hotmail, officially slated to get ActiveSync support sometime this summer, might just be already up and running:
Liveside.net is reporting some users are having success in syncing their Hotmail accounts through ActiveSync. Through trial and error, the server address has been identified as m.hotmail.com, SSL should be enabled, and you leave the domain blank. Obviously you enter in your username and password accordingly.
It’s not official, so it could break or just not work or stop working at any time, but if you’ve been dying to get Hotmail on your iPhone, especially push Hotmail, here’s your chance to taste test.
(And remember, iOS 4 will let you have multiple ActiveSync accounts, so work Exchange, Gmail, and Hotmail can all live and push together in beautiful, blasphemous, harmony).

Dont think thats right cause they wont release an unlocked phone. They ask you who you are with and set the phone up for your carrier when you purchase one at their store. I think your right about it being more though cause even if I got it at Rogers store, I could probably get the phone a little cheaper if I renewed my three year contract even though its not close to being done, and Im not eligible for a hardware upgrade till this time next year.
So to be clear, call my carrier and arrange for the device through them when they officially release the device........correct?

iPhone 4 delayed in Canada?
We assure you that we’re not trying to stir up rumors with this one, but we’re starting to get the feeling that the Canadian launch of the iPhone 4 might have been pushed back. While checking out Apple’s Canadian website earlier on in the day, we couldn’t help but notice that “Coming in July” had been replaced with “Coming Soon.” There’s no way that Apple would change that unless something was up, and when you take into consideration the insane amount of pre-orders Apple received in the US alone, one’s mind does start to put one and two together. Keep in mind that Canada wasn’t deemed worthy to share a June 24th launch with the US, UK, Germany, France, and Japan. If you were Apple and your product was selling faster than you could make it, would you piss off everyone who put in a pre-order to sell a few units in a market that hasn’t been told a specific release date or been given the opportunity to buy the thing, or would you do your best to fulfill every outstanding order? It’s also interesting to note that the exact same thing happened to the iPad, and we all know how that turned out.
We’ve reached out to Apple Canada for comment.
(Never seen the confirm date ... but that 3x delayed over @ AT&T doesn't look good.)

Let's hope he got his preorder in, and that he's not waiting for the white one. Otherwise, he's going to be one unhappy camper, eh? Sorry, couldn't help ourselves.

Hes right, the phone does come unlocked if you get it at the apple store in Canada.

Pre-orders are now suspended and will not resume until later. AT&T has delayed the 2nd batch 3x; July 2, July 12 and now ... NO ETA

Another iPhone 4 discovered in the wild!
Another iPhone 4 has been found roaming around; this time in the Czech Republic. We are already familiar with the external design of the iPhone 4, but this source provides us with photos taken with the rear camera and a video recorded in HD. The person using this iPhone also reports that after playing games, surfing the web, watching YouTube, and using Google maps for an hour, there was only a 10% hit to the battery.
