Do you allow GeoTagging?
This is why you can't allow geotagging when you take pics with your iPhone or other devices ...
You'll never know, it might land in the wrong hands one day. |

Caution:
So I just updated an essential update from Rock and it completely messed up the order and organization of all my apps.
Did anyone else have this issue?
Just a big pain in the ass to reorganize all my apps again |

Stay away from Rock apps and their extentions, your lucky it hasn't bricked your phone yet.
Keep telling you guys about this ...

So... FB 3.1 is out now...
The synching disturbs me though.... I don't mind if my FB contacts get added to my iphone contacts, but not the other way around.
I don't want my FB to have my iPhone contacts. Who know what they will do with them, you get me?
So is this a real synch, or can it be one-way only? |

I've been using Rock since day one, and have no problems. Every time it tell me there is an update I do it and have never had it rearrange any of my icons. I've heard of people having problems with it too but I've installed lots of apps from it, both free and paid and haven't had any problems yet. |

Just installed it:
"if you enable this feature, contacts from your device will be sent to Facebook and your friends' names, photos, and other info from Facebook will be added to your iPhone adresse book.... "
edit: I'm synching right now, i'll let you know what gives. |

first hand: it only synchs contacts common between your iphone and facebook.
For exmaple, if someoene is not in your iphone and in your facebook, he won't be added to your iphone. |

I love the Sync option.
BUT!!
CAREFUL: There is an option to turn off photo sync. I had it turned OFF but it still replaced all my photos!!!! UGH! Good thing I backed up last night...
After you remove the data, it removes all the photos and just leaves it blank!
Also, the push notifications don't show you a preview, just gives you a warning "bla bla wrote on your wall" |

I have a problem with what I highlighted in bold. I have very private people on my phone, that would not wish their private numbers and details to be shared on FB. FB doesn't say exactly what they'll do with it.
FB is a serious dataminer. I'd like to know what the blogs write about this. |

I don't understand the use of sending the phone numbers to facebook if these peoples aren't on your friends list... they won't appear anywhere (after looking at my profile).
I suspect that it sends the info to facebook so its able to match it with people with which you'll already friends...nothing more. |
