I think the phone changed the video quality a bit too much though when I uploaded it...

I've made some test pics and videos too ... my God the camera is outstanding on this thing. Apple was right, MPs don't mean and it's all about photons. No way 5MP camera can capture this much detail on a normal point and shoot.
Yeah I have to take a better video haha. The one I took is all jumpy because I was moving in line, and I didn't want to drop the phone lol. I need to get a case for this thing first. I got a free one from Apple, but it will take 3-5 weeks to get here, frig.
The only thing I noticed that I can't take pictures of or videos really well, is my dog lol. He's a husky, so all white, and the auto balance makes him look like a ghost lol!

(My videos came out fine @ 720p, just like how it's suppose to be ... I did uploaded via the computer. Apple always downgrades 3G data transfers + streaming to save all carriers' bandwidth. Totally, understandable, or data prices would be jacked up or totally unstable. Thanks God jailbreaking helps in this area w/ 3Gunrestrictor.)
Steve Jobs: iPhone 4 over the air HD video upload coming “in the future”
One of the big complaints of the iPhone 4 and HD video recording is that HD videos do not upload to YouTube in HD. However, it looks like we’ll be getting this feature soon.
Here’s the email that Chris T. sent to Steve Jobs:
I’m a HUGE fan of your products… MBP, Ipad 64gb WIFI, 2 iphone 3g’s and now 2 iphone 4’s… but I have a complaint… What’s the point of building in HD video capabilities when the compression upon uploading directly to youtube makes the video’s useless and not viewable? They’re not even remotely viewable!! I was so excited about this feature on the Iphone 4, but sadly to say, this is a serious disappointment. In today’s world, HD video is pointless if I can’t upload it “as is” directly to the net.
This was Steve’s reply:
You can upload them via a Mac or PC today. Over the air in the future.
Sent from my iPhone
As someone who uploaded a video to YouTube expecting HD quality and being thoroughly annoyed when it wasn’t, I am very excited to hear this. But how far into “the future” must we travel? Will wifi be required when uploading HD quality videos?

I mean, it's not THAT bad, but it kinda puts a little haze around him, and the detail isn't perfect because it can't balance. Not a big deal though.

Here's a minor annoyance that I found with iOS4.
When taking pictures or videos, it doesn't tell you how many pictures you'll able to take with the amount of space you have left, or how many minutes of video you can still take. Any camera is able to do this, but iOS4 doesn't tell you unfortunately. Not a huge issue because of all the space an iPhone has, but if you're taking an HD video on your iPhone 4, and already have videos and music on it, the amount of space you have left would be useful. Maybe it tells you and I just didn't see it, but I don't think so.

Worked great. It took many attempts for it to connect to the server, but when it did, all is good!

Just to be clear, a jailbreak is still not yet available for iOS4 and iPhone 3GS, 05.12.01, currently broken with Spirit, right?
