That's a cool idea dude! :p
Rule #1 avoid apps that require you blowing into the mic, condensation will trigger one of the liquid damage indicators to go red. |

WakeMate Helps You Sleep Smarter With Your iPhone
By Kyle VanHemert, on Sat, 02 Jan 2010 16:00:00 -0
The WakeMate, a sensor-laden wristband packaged with sleep analysis software, determines the optimal wake-up point in your REM cycle and adjusts your alarm for that moment. It also lets you say you really use your iPhone 24/7.
One of the fundamental reasons we love gadgets is because they help us do things better and smarter while we go about our days. But there are considerably fewer gadgets that help us go about our nights. Sure, there are some, but by and large the activity of sleeping is one that is untouched by technology and thus unoptimized. Enter WakeMate.
The WakeMate wristband uses Actigraphy to monitor your sleep cycles and pinpoints the precise moment when you should wake up, in a twenty minute window set to your specifications. (Otherwise, my "optimal wake up time" would be sometime around noon, seven days a week.)
But that's only half of it. The WakeMate collects your nightly sleep data and over time develops a detailed analysis of your sleep schedule.
Though I'm not sure I need quantify things with a "sleep score"--Sleep? That's where I'm a viking--it's hard not to get excited about the prospect of sleeping smarter with the help of gadgets like WakeMate. The WakeMate is set to ship by the end of the month and is available for preorder now. [ WakeMate Thanks Mikey!] |

Final Fantasy Creator Hironobu Sakaguchi “Working on a Project for iPhone”

It’s nothing more than a quartet of lines in a Happy New Year Note, but it signals that yet another high profile game designer — in this case Final Fantasy’s Hironobu Sakaguchi — is thinking iPhone in 2010:
Oh, by the way, We are also working on a project for iPhone.
This should be released soon as well.
We will put our efforts together and do our best!
I’m sure you’ll Love it.
Will it be Final Fantasy for iPhone? A version of his “long-awaited new blockbuster”? Something new entirely? Let us know if you have any ideas, but our excitement over another year of iPhone gaming is already going into overdrive.
***************
I knew this was coming, Square Enix had made many games on the iPhone ... it was only time. For all you Final Fantasy nerds, "Celebration bitches!" |

Any alternative music players for the iPHone?
PwnPlayer crashes all the time, and the developer has abandoned the project. I want to just drag drop files, and not have to deal with the stupid iTunes sync bull. |

Very odd ... but I like using iTunes to sync my sh*t. I still use winamp for my audio playbacks.
You can try iPhone PC Suite or CTManager (Heard these were good, but never tried it)
CTManager requires iPhone/iPod Touch drivers for such devices.
For those who don’t want to install iTunes, there is a hack:
* Download the iTunes.exe file
* Rename the .exe to .zip
* Open up the zipped file and extract AppleMobileDeviceSupport.msi
* Install this file.
You can then sync your iPhone without using iTunes. |

I've used transcopy to transfer files over, which i find is better than I tunes, because you don't have to 'sync' a collection, just add the files and transfer.
I'll give the above a try, thanks.
But a music player FOR the iphone would be nice. |
