Save everything and just simply restore. They don't bother checking if its been jailbroken or what not... Takes too long for them to run that diagnoses.
I've done it like 5-6 times lol |

Restore it as a new user, don't just restore it and dont go in with a JB unit. They will check it and with the new spotlight search, even if you have hidden icons ... they will look for Cydia and etc.
If you do a restore, there will be traces such as custom battery meters and etc etc etc.
You will need to run your fresh legit FW for at least 48hrs, just to be safe. Reason why is, most of the GBAR guys are informed to run a diagnostic test before swapping and it takes 2 mins to run. Even if your not going in for internal hardware problems. Depends on the locations ...
(I assume Apple wants to collect the data for future FW improvements.)
Water damage indicators will be looked at, they will not open your unit.
Two problems I see coming ...
a)I don't know about your case right now, but your replacement "might" be w/ the new 3.1.3 & baseband 05.12.01. If that's the case you won't be able to use your Fido sim. No unlocking for that baseband.
b)I'm pretty sure their gonna activate the unit before handing it to you, I suggest you to borrow a friend's Rogers sim for the visit. Whatever your iPhone Carrier is locked to, your replacement will be the same. They will not give you another carrier iPhone.
Good luck.
PS:
You might walk out w/ an older bootrom 3GS, many had walk away with it after their visit ... you'll never know/ |

Free Push Notifications with Push Doctor on your Hackivated iPhone

If you are the owner of a hackivated iPhone today seems to be your lucky day as Push Doctor for push notifications has arrived via Cydia. Push Doctor supplies you with true activation certificates so unlike other workarounds, certificates are always unique.
Push Doctor is completely free and can be found on the NERV repository (http://www.cmdshft.ipwn.me/apt/) which you must add in Cydia. Keep in mind you will not see any application on your Springboard as all it will do is add certificates to your device. If you do give this a try remember to be patient as the server has been getting hammered all morning and push notifications may not work right away. So if you get any sort of error on install, simply try again at a later time.

I've been following this thread since it's been posted ...
They claim the iPhone is now semi-unlock for Canada. The refurb'ed units will lock up to whatever Robellus sim is installed for the first activation. iTunes will detect what unit it is, what country and what carrier sim card for activations
http://www.howardforums.com/showthr...92&page=1&pp=15
EDIT: I know for a fact the applestore and the retail stores all have a diff ver of iTunes for activation. My suggestion is, go in for your apt ... but don't have your sim card in your iPhone. Once they do the registering and testing, they will ask for your sim for activating the new one, give him the Fido Sim.
I've done this before on a sabotaged unit I've returned. *Leaving the simcard out* |

Forgot to mention, your iPhone must be @ the current FW before you go in. If not they will not accept your apt.
It clearly states it on the Apple website, a fresh restore under a new username is a must for JB units. |
