Found out the dude who tried this was running 3.1.3 FW, maybe that's the reason he can't relock it ... who knows.
I've done Fido to Rogers and Robbie has done Rogers to Fido relocking w/ my method. |

When I get the HD, I'm really thinking of setting my 3G free (jailbreak)...
But my wife is going to take it and I don't want her to have issues...
Thoughts? |

IMO jailbreak it.
My GF also had her 3G Jailbroken the momment it left the box on the first day and no problems @ all. I strongly suggest loading only the essentials and keep it simple for her. The unit only gets sketchy if you start loading a ton of things that use mobilesubstrate, rock ext and etc.
Btw when you replace you screen, let us know the results pls. Such material, function and preformance. Thanks dude. |

| Redsnow for 4.0 beta 1 is out, pls stay away from it. It's for Cydia Dev Apps, not for the general public. MuscleNerd released it for for all the Cydia guys to fix up their app to prepare for Apple's public release on June 22, along w/ the next gen iPhone. |
