There's almost 250,000 apps, only a handful has the multitasking API & more to follow very soon.
Like I said before, don't expect multitasking to run properly right after launch.

There's a new arrow icon in the top bar that turns on when your GPS is working... good to know now.

Holy apps batman!
I know, it was a pain in the ass to organize 9 pages before, but now it's so much more organized.
I've been deleting lots of apps like a language translator that I rarely used, but now that it organizes better, I re-added it, because I still found myself needing one like today, and don't worry about overcrowding my pages anymore.
...and yeah I like my wifi apps :)
... and an update from my bro at Rogers... There is some kind of friends and family plan he can get me, so he's looking to get it in writing for me.

I liked the "Backgrounder" add-on for my multitasking needs. It never failed me and put this little "badge" on the apps icon to signify it was running.

"Erica emailed Steve Jobs to find out:
Hey Steve! I just upgraded my iPhone 3G to iOS 4 and was really looking forward to setting a background on my home screen. Guess that’s not happening, but I’d like to know why.
And Steve Jobs replied:
The icon animation with backgrounds didn’t perform well enough."

As a matter of fact, switching between pages is actually faster...
One weird thing is that she's legit now but the phone retained the Erica carrier mod and the battery percentage meter...
But the Erica app is gone so I can't change it back to Rogers...
B/c you've updated your FW from a previous back up / user device.
#1 rule is always do a fresh install of a FW, just like your case .. it leaves traces of the previous system files and sometimes it causes a lot problems down the road. Now imagine you went in for a warrenty servicing like this? Amazing you guys pull this stuff when I've posted this up back in 2007

John I did the JB on the spur of the moment with the 3 second Spirit...
I didn't care too much because my warranty has been up for 8 months...
All of this quickpon tethered whatever.. I haven't a clue and really don't want to learn...
I just thought that it was strange...
I'll have the iPhone 4 in a matter of weeks anyway...
And it will probably stay legit...

If I'm not mistaken, 3GS is not jailbreakable yet... in the case of RedsnOw? I'm hoping I'm wrong.
