No idea with this one ... I don't use tracking apps. I heard findmyi is good, but cost $2.00 a month. |
If you ever lose your cell (you probably won't lose it in the way that I did lol) then you will want something to track it with! Maybe not...but I know I did, so I must get something now haha.
Looking forward to getting my iPhone back after work today around 7pm, woot! I have to drive to Mississauga (I live in Cambridge), but I don't care at all haha. I'm lost without that thing for contacting people, and I feel so out of the loop. Like a lot of people with cell phones, I use it as my watch, and I find that I do things a lot more slowly when I have no idea what time it is lol. |

Wish we closed this thread and split it into two! Iphone and BlackBerry! Lots of useful information in there, but filtering through all the lame ass iphone it annoying! :P |
Ya I completely agree, and i've brought it up before, but to no avail. It makes no sense to have them grouped together, other than the fact their both smartphones they couldnt be more different....I'll give it another little bit but if nobody decides to make a bb specific thread i'll do it myself. |

Go right a head ... but as you can see, there's no support from the TOTA Blackberry users at all. (Even when one of them works there)
Plus, you guys have an appstore too ... not that hard to make a little post about an app.
Once any info is posted up about "anything" in here, I re-edit the first page. Your main concern should be the first page. |

| I think people are just satisfied with thier BBs so they don't have much to post. They don't need to find new apps to impress their friends. |

Ohhh SNAP!
I do work for them, but in the tech support area, so feel free to bounce a question to me about BB related technical issues if you want... |

I rarely talk about apps, could careless about them. My main goal is hacking + modding things and solve problems. (If you havent notice)
Tons of BB firmware hacking and mods, but yet no one cares to explore that route on TA. |

Thats were the iphone and bb are different imo. Most BB users have no need to hack/mod their device in order to meet their needs....reliable /secure communication, in the form of the blackberry.net servers. Iphone users seem less concerned with this aspect of mobile devices, and are more focused on modding/hacking in order to fulfill the full multimedia/3rd party-application potential of the device. Both devices just simply are geared to different factions of society.
I have no real problem with iphones, I had the first gen when it just came out in the US years ago, and went through all the troubles associated with soft unlocking/jailbreaking via Turbo Sim, then eventually the devteam solution, amongst others, editting open source protocol/permissions for applications designed for one firmware while I was running another, etc......It's a great device, fun to play around with if you have the time, but its definatly not for everyone. |

No, I know where it is at all times. Nevers leaves my buffer zone lol
I've lost it in my room once & it was in silent mode (no vibrate even)
The only thing I lost once was my wallet, it was at System (the early years). Sitting my the couches and I was wearing those phat raver pants and some how it slipped out. Got it back when I went back during the am hrs to look for it in the lost & found. |
