Cult of Mac is claiming an exclusive, highly placed source has told them iPhone 4 is coming to T-Mobile US as soon as Q3:
Talks between Apple and T-Mobile are at an advanced stage, our source says, and it’s 80 percent likely that the iPhone will be coming to T-Mobile in Q3.
The source works at T-Mobile but asked not to be quoted directly and to remain anonymous because they aren’t authorized to talk to the press.
T-Mobile is a GSM carrier, like AT&T, but they use a 3G band probably not even supported by iPhone 4’s 5-band radio (though rumors suggest Apple might simply have chosen not to list it). If it’s not supported, Apple will either have to add that band to future units, or produce a new model just for T-Mo.
So anyone believe this? Anyone at least appreciate the break from the usual Verizon rumors?
(We all know AT&T is gonna lose the exculsive deal & it explain their generous HUP policy this year. If T-Mobile gets this, an AWS IP4 will work on wind .... this could be why Rogers is allowing their HUP exemptions.)

The uncool part about it .... it's by Rock and uses their extension. Their software was known for massive OS corruptions and forced a lot of ppl to do a complete restore. I used it in 2.0, 3.0 I stopped and can't comment on 4.0.
Yeah I'm hesitant to use Intelliscreen unless they come out with something that will specially work with 4.0.
Isn't there some basic app that shows you if you have texts or emails on the lock screen? This can't be the only one! At least I hope not lol. I just don't want to unlock my phone every time just to see if I have a new email or SMS.

Why isn't there an auto-redial for the iphone? Every other top-o-the-line phone I've owned had that feature!

Huh? Explain more pls ...
You can tap "redial" when the call has a busy signal and there's recent call list.

Auto-redial.
If a line is busy, a phone will hang up and wait a set time and redial... repeating for so many times. When it finally connects the phone will play a sound to let you know to take the call. It's been a very handy feature in the past.

(For those who are wondering about Roger's pricing, this is what I found out about last year's 3GS launch
"Rogers released the pricing Thursday evening on June 18th. The phone came out the next morning on Friday the 19th. Literally 15 hours before the phone became available.")

Sneaky one by Rogers
You guys noticed in MyRogers today, there's a $50 mail in rebate notice?
Now for me to update to BB9700 is still $449 "Price after $50.00 mail-in rebate"
The price of $449 was always $449, this "Price after $50.00 mail-in rebate" was jacked up.
Oh I can't wait to follow up w/ customer relations on thursday night.
2009 - HUP to 3GS was $449
2010 - 2 months before IP4 launch still $449 and now they claim $499 w/ $50 rebate to make it $449
