when will they think of the people using more than language.
Example:
Texting to Joe in English
Switch to texting to Marie in French
Come back to text to Joe, have to switch back the keyboard.
I know it seems trivial, but its really not intuitive to switch language everytime, and creates so many typing error by the time you realize you're in the wrong language.
The keyboard button added already to change the keyboard language helps me. Is that what you're talking about?? It can be somewhat of an inconvenience to hit it accidentally but it's not a huge huge deal IMO...

What he wants is an automatic switch, maybe in the future there will be a keyboard setting section within contacts that allows this.
Hint hint ;)

Trust me, i don't know about you, but it's been 2 years since I have an iphone, and I am still not used switching languages between SMS chats.
If you're still not used to something, and keep making errors, something's wrong with the design. (or me lol)
How hard is it to keep in memory the language used in a SMS chat and stick to it?

no man, the layout is the same on the iphone, its the autocorrect, it screws up everything because it corrects to the last language useed.
"Let's" typed with a french keyboard, becomes " L'ETA " lol (terrorist organization)
"Arrete" typed with an english keyboard, becomes "adders" :p

iPad 3 going to have retina display with 2048 x 1536. Which is amazing for something with the screen that is like 10". Now I wonder what +20" screens will have, hopefully some 4K or even 8K resolutions. Time for our eyes to bleed.

They found traces of the retina iPad in iOS 4, but never came out for the iPad 2. All is possible now since Samsung made that new panel last month.
There's also that 3D iPad demoed yesterday in Taiwan

You won't see them anytime soon in monitors that are large, because they will be far too expensive to produce. IPS screens with those resolutions are going for $1000 on their own: http://accessories.us.dell.com/sna/...k=baynoteSearch

I'm not sure Apple would use Samsungs tech in this case. LG exclusively makes IPS panels, and I don't see Apple going away from those. I have a Dell IPS monitor (LG Panel), and a Samsung phone with a SAMOLED screen; the colours are truer on the IPS panel.

Those specs are quite impressive. Hopefully more or less we will see 4K / 8K in televisions in the near future and not by 2020. Sharp has one, but it is a prototype and it is 85" or something  Not sure why people really need anything over 60" for a tv though.

I remember reading this a while ago, all could change with the iPad 3 but, indeed Apple won't leave the IPS panels.
It was the main reason I didn't buy the iPad 2, no retina display :(
"Apple has reportedly placed a new order for 30 million display panels per year from leading display manufacturer AU Optronic. The unconfirmed report from Taiwan Economic News suggests Apple paid a huge 300-400% premium to lock in the order, which could see AU Optronics produce up to 100,000 iPad 2 displays each day. The order accounts for about half of the global tablet market, the report claims. Apple had sourced its 9.7-inch iPad 2 displays from LGD and Samsung and some manufacturing took place in Japan, which could be part of the reason for Apple’s willingness to pay a premium to a new supplier._It is also unclear if the move is a response to light leakage problems many have reported with Apple’s current iPad 2 displays."
