Well not so much...
I'm at Yorkdale and I def see this reception issue when I hold the phone that certain way...
I've also noticed the proximity sensor issue...
Im still not caring too ouch as themperformance of the phone is still 1000 X better than my 3G... |

Antenna Issue on Rogers = none. (Can't speak for Bellus)
2 bars drop, calls are 100% stable and don't believe the media. AT&T's coverage is horrible in the states.
Data is effected a little, not massive |

Played with a friends last night, same........its fine. Better than my 3gs it seems , this thing drops calls like a mofo lately.
Damit i dont wanna wait a week. Cant beleive the city was dry in less than 2 hours. |

After my GF started to test out my IP4, she wanted one and another adventure was gonna start indeed.
This morning we travelled to Fairview, Eaton Centre and called Yorkdale Apple Stores ... All sold out now. 100s came back for rainchecks for HUP activations. Went to STC for breakfast and of course they only had Virgin Mobile and Telus units left.
GF didn't want me to give her the unlocked one, she even agrees I should sell it on eBay.
Good luck to everyone trying to get batch #2. I hope it's soon also, but I have a feeling it might be Oct ... since the US is just recently got their 2nd batch.

Seems like Rogers all got week 29 w/ the proximity issues. My friend had that bug during a FaceTime session lastnight. No worries, FW 4.1 will fix it. |

Im always in the city, and always have full bars. Its when I get a call, it drops it right away, then have to call back after waiting 30 seconds or so for it to search for service.
Also, when I make a call, same thing, Full bars until call connects, then it drops, then I have to wait for it to search.
Sometimes it drops the call as the phone is ringing. I mentioned I always have full bars
Happens once a day at least.
Might just have to reinstall everything again and try a fresh start. Otherwise, the device is fast. I got rid of winterboard and its never frozen on me since. Just the dropping calls thing. |

Opps I was talking about the IP4 antenna issue, that's why I qouted you. My fault, should of edited out your 3GS drop calls. |

I am actually considering just waiting for a white one. There might even be a new antena design in them by the time they ship. My HUP may even be a tad less by that time no? |
