Both sides do make valid points in their defense.
Apple: Security, Piracy and Carrier Locks
Jailbreaking Community: Carrier unlocks, customization and lifting Apple's limitations.
If this hits the courts; the best was to solve the issue in fair game, Dev Team and the community continue to do what they do but, they got to help patch up the security holes and make sure all the general public dumb ass monronic users are safe from hackers. Ban all repos containing "you know what" to allow cracked apps to sync. Apple, on their side of the deal, should allow carrier unlock for all users, after a certain period of the customers contracts and what not.

Everyday I get some stranger coming up to me ....
"Omg, is that the IP4? I heard about the antenna issue"

Someone w/o a Data plan, pls test this out for me ...
Launch any type of apps or services that require a data connection and let me know if it works.
From what I found out today, Rogers is automaticly data blocking accounts that don't have a data plan. Even if you want to use the pay per use method, you have to call in.

I know about the whole data block rejection request, I've posted that up long time ago ... The new system will allow the data to go through and you'll instantly get a SMS telling you to get a plan.
That's why I need someone test this for us, now we're hearing two diff stories.
Which brave soul is willing to spend $0.05 for us? Launching the weather app takes 1K of data.
"With Rogers & Fido there are no Pay Per Use Data Charges anymore, in Fact you actually have to call in if you want to use pay per use at 5c a KB. By Default if you try to use the internet with Fido & Rogers, you will get a message on your screen to purchase a Data Day Pass or a Data Week Pass & it will show you the cost besides it, only if you agree to it your Data will work. if you don't, you don't get charged anything, from what I heard since the launch this had dropped about 15% calls to there call centre.
