Done and done. As promised, the Dev-Team has delivered yet again and released the first version of its iPhone 3G soft-unlock to the world. It’s not without a few hiccups but it definitely works and it works well. What’s more, yellowsn0w works with the current baseband which means you won’t have to worry about downgrading or any other such nonsense. Getting yellowsn0w is as simple as can be - just add a new repo to Cydia or Installer and you’re off to the races. For those continuously commenting about the iPhone 3G unlock being useless, please. How about using the iPhone on T-Mobile with EDGE? Most T-Mobile handsets are still without 3G anyway and the iPhone is a device unlike anything currently available from the carrier. We’re not saying it’s better or worse, but it is different and choices are what it’s all about. How about using a local pre-paid SIM while traveling? Nothing like being able to keep your handset along with all of your data while traveling abroad - without having to worry about being bent over by international roaming charges. There are plenty more reasons as well but we won’t bore you with more ranting. Hit the via link for the Dev-Team’s blog post and the read link to get unlocking.

This thing is crazy...
"The listening experience of RjDj is similar to the effects of drugs. Drugs affect our sensory perception, so does RjDj. RjDj is a digital drug which causes mind twisting hearing sensation."

Can't go wrong with the 8330, but I suggest you wait for the Storm. It's amazing.

Sprint is getting the Niagara soon, it's like the Bold & 8900 units together. Since Sprint is CDMA, wonder if Telus & Bell will have access to this, if so your answer is this.
They predict Verizon will follow same path as Sprint.
We know how hard it must be for Sprint BlackBerry users considering that Sprint missed out on recent handsets like the Storm and Bold. Sprint hasn’t even issued OS 4.5 yet but as the saying goes, “good things come to those who wait.” If you believe this latest rumor, a very good thing is on its way to the black and yellow land of Sprint — the Niagara. A CDMA variant of the Bold with updated looks to compliment the styling queues of the 8900 and Storm, the Niagara features all of the goodies one could hope for: full-QWERTY keypad, 480 x 360 display, EV-DO Rev. A, aGPS, WiFi and a 3.2 megapixel camera. We even hear that there might be HSPA world-roaming (wouldn’t that be swell?). If the rumor pans out, it would certainly give Sprint a much needed shot in the arm. But then again, Verizon would probably just come in after a short period of time and wreck the party.

yeah, it was like the snowflake was guided by luke skywalker in the climactic scene of episode iv...
anyway, i picked up the curve and am very happy with it, i always assumed BBs were probably overrated but am happily proven wrong (except for brickbreaker crashing the phone after i updated to 4.5.. but think i fixed that by muting its sound) :)
