you don't even need to use ssh when doing mobile installation
you can just add the link to your sources in cydia, then do everything via cydia. Get installous and your set.

yes you can do that, but at the end you learn nothing from it when you do need to hack something. |

i dont disagree with you. I'm just mentioning that there is a work around for those who do not want to manually install mobile installation |

I'll admit I've temp. bricked my iPhone once when I Wifi+SSH+WinSSP'ed and rushed things ... had to restore it and start all over again.
Very good learning lesson. |

If Fido isnt going to carry the new iphone.. does anyone think that there will be a way to unlock it so it works on the Fido network?
I reaally dont want to go to Rogers .. i despise them. I like the way Fido is and the way they manage everything.. their customer service is amazing,... plus, i dont want to lose my 6 gig data plan
i watch tv now on my phone and go above 2 gigs a month |
