Possible explanation, fix for iPhone 4 yellow splotch problem?
Okay, this is thin, but seeing how some of team TiPb are experiencing the dreaded yellow splotches on their iPhone 4, we’re clinging to threads here — forum threads in this case from Apple Insider:
Apple is using a bonding agent called Organofunctional Silane Z-6011 to bond the layers of glass. Apparently, Apple (or more likely Foxconn) is shipping these products so quickly that the evaporation process is not complete. However, after one or two days of use, especially with the screen on, will complete the evaporation process and the yellow “blotches” will disappear.
How do I know? I was involved in pitching Z-6011 to Apple.
Jeremy wonders how this explains perfectly straight yellow lines, so who knows, but it’s something to consider. If you have the splotches, chances are Apple won’t have replacement units for you in the next few days anyway, so keep on using it and let us know if you see an improvement…
So far, only two apps on my unit have the mutlitasking API ... who knows what's the ending results will be w/ the final state of my 3G.

That iOS 4 reception issue is looking more and more like a software bug
Much fuss has been made about the iPhone 4’s reception woes, but the evidence continues to mount that suggests the problem is purely the result of a bug in the current build of iOS 4. As proof, a YouTube user has posted a video of his iPhone 3G, held in a similar fashion as the iPhone 4s in the YouTube videos we showed you yesterday, losing signal strength as soon as it is clutched. As this did not happen with iOS 3.0, this suggests a software bug which affects the signal meter the user sees. Even more interesting is the fact that despite displaying a weak signal — and in some cases no signal at all — many users report that the iPhone 4 is still able to make calls as if nothing were wrong. Hit the jump to check out the video then give us your thoughts!

I call bull, I can't duplicate the issue.

I wish there was a multitasking toggle, only allow the apps you want multitask and the rest would end processing upon exit.
Anton
I wish there was a way to actually exit an app without it being run in the background automatically, this feels like Windows Mobile 6.5 where you have to keep closing apps.

Wait, I have been holding off to ask but...
The 4 doesn't come with the sim pin, or did I loose it already?
I had to use my S pin to pull out the sim...

I'd imagine it does, but assuming it's like the 3G/S etc just use a needle to eject the Microsim tray.
