720Tube App
Apple loves to tout the HD video recording and editing capabilities of its new iPhone 4. Shoot.Edit.Share, says the slogan. Unfortunately, something nasty happens between the shooting and YouTube sharing: compression. Apple squashes your magical 720p memory into a rather glum looking 360p video just as soon as you select "Send to YouTube." And there's no easy way around it. That is, until we stumbled upon a little app called 720tube from Drakfyre's Software.
It's simplistic in its design but works exactly as advertised. Once you've shot or exported your video from iMovie, simply launch 720tube, login to your YouTube account (credentials can be saved) and select the video from the iPhone camera roll. Then add a title, description, tags, and category, and off she goes into the unbridled ether. You can even make the video private if you're not quite ready to come out as a true Justin Beleiber. Seriously though, the 720tube app is dead simple and has been rock solid during our testing, even over 3G connections -- it's exactly what we've been waiting for.

Okay I kinda got the carrier thing to work, but only on my 3GS thats running on the older firmware did it still hold.
With my 4 running 4.0 it worked, then disappeared lol
For some reason with my 4 it reverted automatically, it did this after I put it on airplane and then took it off (to search for signal). When it went back on, the carrier bar disappeared lol It did stay with ATT, but the choice menu was gone. ALSO my MMS was gone too, which is kind of weird.
With my S it held even after i did airplane mode a few times.
So now in order to make it work again on my 4, i need to install the stock carrier file then reboot, then load in the edited one and reboot. But this time I am not going to put it on airplane mode lol

Just wanna share this with everyone here ...
I haven't seen my homie for almost 20 yrs, we grew up in the projects together and suddenly I get this msg over FB chat ... "Did you get your IP4?"
Dude is so impressed and so happy he got the IP4. After we Facetime'ed each other ... my homie straight out confirmed "It's the best phone I ever had, everyone gotta get this IP4!" and that's coming from a hardcore Nokia S60 and Andriod user. That's some pretty bold words I have to say.
I hope everyone has a wicked FaceTime session with someone you haven't seen in a long time.
I really hate saying it, "Apple was right" about how the IP4 will change everything. again.)
EDIT: I predict the next coming soon feature will be "FaceTime Conference Calling"
My homie and I met up today, great times talking about the pass and etc. Been 20 years since we've seen each other ...
(Bartender never used a 3GS or a IP4, tap to focus you fool!)
I wasn't joking about him being a former Nokia S60 and Android user, he carries all three units with him ... all units have VPs & DPs. I think he needs help here.
*Side note: We ventured to the Samsung promo area in Eaton Centre, they were promoting the Galaxy S. That rep is the most ignorant person I've ever seen.
"It's the best phone with the best display, not like the iPhone this and not like the iPhone that"
Most likley my homie is gonna grab it when it comes out for Rogers, but we both agree selling and promoting your product like this, makes you like moronic and the weaker the competition. It's like Coke vs Pepsi battle; who know who will always be leading the battle.
It doesn't matter who is better, get what you like and enjoy it. Do your homework and make sure you're picking the right phone before you buy it. The whole Android vs Apple is totally nonsense, let them battle it out and we the consumer will benefit from it.*

iPhone Dev Team has announced earlier today that they won’t be releasing the jailbreak for iOS 4.0.2 for iPhone, iPod Touch or iOS 3.2.2 for iPad.
Apple released iOS 4.0.2 two weeks back, which fixed the security vulnerability in iOS 4 and iOS 4.0.1 for iPhone, iPod Touch and iOS 3.2.1 for iPad that was used by JailbreakMe - the web-based to jailbreak iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad.
iPhone Dev Team explained the reason for not releasing the jailbreak for iOS 4.0.2:
No, there won’t be. FW 4.0.2/3.2.2 was *only* released to fix the jailbreakme hole. With FW 4.1 still in its beta stages, it makes no sense to escalate the “cat & mouse” with Apple for FW updates that only fix the jailbreak holes. To quote WOPR, “the only winning move is not to play”.
If the cat & mouse game escalates too quickly, especially during beta FW periods, nobody but Apple benefits. For this reason, there won’t be a 4.0.2/3.2.2 jailbreak specifically during the period where 4.0.2/3.2.2 is the latest public release. At best, some future 4.1x FW jailbreak *may* be compatible with 4.0.2/3.2.2 (but don’t count on that).
Apple is expected to release iOS 4.1, which is currently in beta at the special event on September 1st so it makes sense to hold off releasing the jailbreak.
Luckily, iPhone 3G users and iPod Touch 2nd generation (non-MC version) can use Redsn0w (v0.9.5b5-5) to jailbreak iOS 4.0.2.
iPhone 3G and iPod Touch 2G users can checkout our step-by-step guide on how to jailbreaking iOS 4.0.1 using Redsn0w:
•How to jailbreak iOS 4.0.2 using Redsn0w for iPhone 3G for Mac Users
•How to jailbreak iOS 4.0.2 Using Redsn0w for iPhone 3G for Windows Users
As always, we’ll let you know as soon as we’ve any further updates. So stay tuned here at iPhone Hacks or follow us on Twitter or subscribe to our RSS feed.

CDMA/Verizon chip-maker looking for iPhone expert?
Qualcomm, which makes both the CDMA chipsets used by Verizon and Sprint, and a new hybrid GSM/CDMA chip that could be used on all 4 US networks, is looking for a little iPhone-related help:
“The iPhone has no secret for you?” the job listing posted earlier this month reads. “Well, that’s what you think… join us and develop the most challenging product of your life!”
The listing has since been pulled but in today’s Google-cached world, there’s no taking it back.
So is this just another random factoid that ultimately means nothing, or yet another sign we may soon see an iPhone on Verizon? (Or at least on some CDMA-related network, somewhere?)
Apple unveils posters for Sept. 1 iPod/iTunes special event
It’s still that guitar, it still has no text, it still just sits there, taunting us, a clue with indecipherable meaning, and now Apple is splashing it in grand, glorious form at Yerba Buena center in preparation for it’s annual special music event coming September 1.

(If Apple is gonna confirm a new US carrier for the IP4, Sept is the best timing to unleash the news)
