I picked up a Blackberry Curve, $49 not including data plan but I mean corp discount isn't bad. :) Loving the features so far and I haven't even gotten crazy apps for it yet. Got the gel case (silicone style) and the leather type sliding case on top of that. It's pretty cool. I'm dying to stream tunes off it.

Power support screen protectors are "so-so",they get dinged up way too fast.

I really like the Incase Slider, but 44.00 after tax ... nigga you crazy?

That's actually where some dust gets in, through the large opening in the top. Not that big a deal though considering its the most functional case I've tried. When I'm showing off iPod docks at work, the bottom slides off nicely, the Silent switch switches easily (which was a big deal for me and silicone cases made it difficult), the material gives it a good grip, the edges aren't too high as on some others, threw out the screen protector that came with it, this one is from the apple store.

Is my screen protector a power support? I don't know. I personally like it and there's not a single scratch wrong with it, although I've only had it two months and change now.

Yeah it's made by PowerSupport. I have both the Crystal Clear and the Anti Glare packs ...

Anti Glare is nice, but the tint ruins the colours of the screen sometimes. Other then that, it's better then the Crystal Clear ver.

Palringo kicks ass, text/vice/picture messaging, so handy.

Just had an hour and a half convo with Tara (Intangible and Geoffb3 and only used 4MB.

Okay so jumped on the bandwagon last night... i bought an iphone :D
I called the Retention Dept @ Rogers, after waiting for 40 min to speak to a human being, some girl came on the phone and offered me this:

300 Daytime min
Free eve/ weekends after 6pm
500 megs of Data
Caller display
Name display
Visual voice messaging
10000 text messages

for $51.45 INCLUDING the sytem access fee & 911, but taxes extra.
AAAAAAAAANNNND she gave me the phone for $179, instead of $249 (with a mail in rebate)...
Did i do good?!?!? She said that most people use 300-400 megs of data and that i wouldn't need anything more, but if i did, it was only $5 extra a month... you think i'll go over?
In all honesty, i was sold on the iphone @ the Gift on Sat when my boyfriend busted out his iphone and started using "Shazam"... that application rocks! I was totally sold on the phone after seeing that, and the wicked electronic version of sudoko... totally hooked! :p

I'm a HUGE fan of vinyl skins...

All different artwork from gelaskins and with unique skins, you can create your own out of any pic you send them...

And the phone remains thin and tight in the pockets...

That's ok, I never go past any of my limits ... VP & DATA.

Last month I've only used 25 MBs, avoiding using the WEB as much as I can and only use Data Apps.

Ring in the New Year with an unlocked iPhone 3G courtesy of the iPhone Dev Team

The iPhone Dev team today announced on its shiny new blog that the iPhone 3G unlocking project, codenamed yellowsn0w, has been successful. iPhone 3G owners, you are now free to unlock your iPhone! Patience is a virtue as you will have to wait until New Years Eve for the Dev Team to wrap the unlocking tools and procedure into a nice easy package and release it for your unlocking pleasure. The unlocking method is available only to jailbroken iPhone 3Gs and to those iPhone 3Gs that are running baseband 2.11.07 or earlier. The Dev Team’s post on upgrading to firmware 2.2 contains detailed instructions on how to upgrade and keep your unlocking ability intact. Hopefully, you followed those instructions closely. Last but not least, the iPhone Dev team announced that it is not working on jailbreaking the IPod Touch 2G at this point in time. Others are currently exploring the possibility but the Dev Team has put that project aside for the time being. Happy New Years and Happy Unlocking!

I'm half-hoping that it's all a joke and is nothing more than a tool that'll brick all iPhones that it's executed upon.

That'd be hilarious.
