Just out of curiosity. If your connected via Wifi AND you have the 3GS on AND your accessing the internet, does the phone do it though the wifi, or does it always pick the 3GS? Is it better to turn off the 3GS instead?

Perhaps I used the wrong words. I'm talking about connecting via a cellphone provider's data plan (using 3GS for speed).

The iphone will always use the wifi over 3G if you are connected to a wifi network.

Booooo... and YAY!
It seems my phone contacts froze. I shut off, then restarted. My phone became bricked :(
The guy that unlocked and jailbroke for $10 in Mississauga gave me a software CD so I can do it myself next time (I offered him 10 bucks).
I jailbroke and unlocked all by myself this time!
My app store stuff is synching now, and it re-installed all the apps I ordered.
I guess I'm SOL restoring all the Cydia stuff?

don't try updating Cydia, it seems it locks the phone for some reason. I kept it at 0.8 and its fine.

I tried getting the Skype app, but not available on Canadian iTunes. I never used Skype b4, but I'd like to try it out. Any solutions ppl? I would like to use VOIP on my cell so anything else cheap would work too.

I just released a DJM800 inspired iPhone lock screen. If your phone is jail broken and you have winterboard installed go to cydia and search for DJM Lock and tell me what you think :)
