Haven't been to the gym in three days because I've been sick but went today and it was awesome. Going away for the next two weeks though and I don't belong to a gym there :( I'm gonna have to start doing one of those pilates videos and maybe even go running. I hate running with a burning passion deep within my soul...maybe I'll do next to nothing. Eh I'm just gonna lose weight and not the good kind either.

running is awesome if youre really light and have a cool place to do it where youd enjoy a walk or stroll in the same place. Hard to have motivation on city streets and tracks :\

im getting more blood tests this week for the hep I got from a burger in miami last november. It might be making a brief come back. I might be losing weight right with yah :D...:(

It is and I don't plan on losing weight when I go home I just do. My mom is kind of a health freak so I'll be eating very very very healthy and I generally don't snack at home so I lose weight.

Anyhow going to Portland, OR so it should be too hot and I'll just run around the neighborhood or a track but I seriously hate running. I start thinking too much about why I'm even doing it and focus on how much I dislike it and generally stop after 15min. Right now, I think I'll sprint 100m walk 100m sprint 100m walk 100m etc until I'm tired. I don't know maybe even walk around the neighborhood.

Damn I thought you got rid of that nasty Hep you got from the fast food place. Hope it isn't back!

One of my gym's employees (uni gym, so Kinesiology student) told me that the following works for hypertrophy: Using a fairly low weight (135 lbs ob bench press if your max is 200), do as many reps as fast as you can in 30 seconds. Take a 30 second break, decrease the weight by a bit, and repeat. Do this 4 times. Apparently that makes you massive :p. I forget what this is called, but does anyone have any experience with this type of training?

the hep is a virus that sits in there and then your body squashes it and its non-contagious but during the first year afterward your liver is in a susceptible state (like how people with cancer get pneumonia kind of thing) and its just vulnerable. I hope whats happening isnt what it feels like.

kind of feels like it is though :\

for that low weight lots of reps thing, that is something good to do occasionally because it works out all of your muscle fibers, but its good to throw in there to mix.

I get to each muscle 1x a week so I do 4 times in a row of strength and then ill do low weight high rep and get a really good overall pump going and then do that again next work out and take a week off. Then hit the heavy weights again.

It feels awesome too, daaaaaaa pump

man im freaking dead, i barely even felt like running. never will i stay up till 4 and wake up at 8 not good for my body right now other then that i trained hard.

lol there are some sketch ass dudes at my gym there was these old greek ganster guys talking about dealing oxycotin and hahah.

psh gloves are for wusses! Grip harder and the skin doesnt move as much = less callouses. dont want to get soft hands and little wrists from doing dainty workouts!

I was thinking about getting gloves the other day for shrugs though. No one ever uses the smith machine at my gym and the metal grip hasnt been worn down at all its like gripping metal cubes.

everything else im fine on though :wtf:

I love love love my workout gloves. I definitely don't want callouses/man hands PLUS no slippage and my hands don't hurt unnecessarily. GLOVES FTW!!!
