Interesting. hmm... maybe I can get used to whole food, colon cancer sounds like a real pain in the arse :p
I'm going to pay some special attention to that next time I go to the grocery store (i.e. tomorrow). |
try to buy everything fresh.
stay away from processed foods, this will help too. |

Hah, that's exactly what I had in mind... if I'm to begin eating whole food, I want to begin with the noob-friendly stuff :p |

you still need to eat responsible portions and not over do it.
if you are a vegetarian, i'll update my recipe thread with a few good recipes that are easy and can make you feel full without the pasta.
ps make sure you read the pastas ingredients. Some brands only use half/half..avoid those and go the 100% whole. |

But how much do you weigh? I weigh 163 pounds (74 kg), and I'm 5'8" (1.77 m). I'm sure you're in better shape :) |

ack. i don't know what i would do if i had to diet AND not eat meat.
you are a brave man Lira.
when i diet i eat meat, eggs, and fish constantly. protein-rich, tasty, and takes my mind off me being on a diet... for a while.
had salad for lunch, while watching everyone gorge down rice, beans and porkchops. had 2 of them chops... couldn't resist it (that don't break my diet though)
had a tuna salad when i got home at 6:30pm.
had scrambled eggs with ham like 45mins ago.
hungry again. damnit. DAMN WEIGHTCLASSES.
what sucks this time around is i didn't have such a huge appetite last time i dieted. THANKS TRAINING. |

I would highly recommend this book to diet noobs or anyone who's reached a weight loss plateau. Everything is explained in layman's terms (like really ing simple...I was almost insulted, lol), and it's not a hack "diet". This book helped me change my life. The way I eat now is based on what I learned from this book.
