Besides, I've been having a balanced diet, recommended by a professional I see every month, and I spent a very good amount of time at the gym... it's not like I suddenly took it and got big.
Put it this way Lira, when I claimed I'd gained 10lbs (4.5kgs) of muscle in five months, Kinetic Energy told me I was talking bull. The only ways you could possibly have made such gains is if:
1. You're 17 years old and have absolutely no muscle on you.
2. You've had this muscle mass before and lost it.
The only guys I've ever heard make a remotely convincing case for big gains were those who advocated radical HIT methods, and it sounds like you aren't training in that way at all.

Both are kind of true. I lost a lot of muscle mass in November/December because of grad school (pulled too many all-nighters), two kilos to be precise, and I re-gained them now, and I also focused on losing weight during the last months of 2009. I had never been that light!
The only difference is that I'm not 17, as I'll turn 27 in 12 hours :p

It's commonly reported that muscle mass is easy to regain than gain in the first place. So if you used to have this mass and lost it, it's possible you have gained it back more quicker than usual.

I said 17 because when you're a teenager you're still growing naturally with all the requisite hormones, and you don't need to force the issue as much. Additionally, they always say the first pound of muscle is the easiest to gain, so a skinny teenager can put on muscle quite easily.

Wow lol. You need to eat a lot of calories!
I did yoga today, that jazz. I sweat more during yoga than I do running 4 miles! It's insane!

would you recommend those to people who only do moderate exercise (3 days a week of moderate for me).....
I ask because my coworker just burned the DVD's for me, and promised to bring them in on Monday for work. But, he warned me about how tough it was for him at first.....Im excited to get started, but wonder if I am in for a rough ride....:nervous:

Yeah, it's really tough and you're working out 7 days a week. As long as you're in some what shape you should be fine. I was in no shape (well round is a shape) and was advised to do P90 first cause it's less extreme to work you up to P90X. I said that jazz, I like to work hard and see results fast, keeps my motivation up.
You're going to hurt and wobble around a bit when you walk but it's so worth it. Not to mention I feel incredible. Waking up with a smile on my face actually looking forward to work out cause it's fun.
Check out P90X transformation videos on youtube, that's motivation right there in itself!
I would recommend it to everyone!
Oh and it teaches you how to eat right. I'm not following the P90X diet plan cause I know how to eat right I had just chosen not to cause I dooooo like to eat, OH HOW I LIKE TO EAT!
The program comes with other paperwork such as the calander, fitness guide, nutrition guide, worksheets...etc
If your coworker is just burning you the DVD's I could upload all the documents you'll need in PDF and excel format if you'd like.

Insane, INSANE! I just woke up and checked my weight (I use Wii Fit) and lost another 3 lbs!! Insane results!!! It was the yoga that did it! My goal was 7 lbs in 2 weeks, wii fit just said you reached your goal so fast that i was getting a bit worried about your health. lol im tip ing top!
I have only done 4 work outs so far. I'm on day 5 getting ready for the next one. I have lost 7 lbs and 1% body fat!
I'm a machine!!!!! :D :D :D :D :D

That would be awesome, thank you so much!! I am not too worried about the nutritional/food aspect, as I have always been on point with the eating (I actually ENJOY eating healthy, despite what my size may be!).
Its the exercise that I need more motivation for....I get into that rut of staying at moderate levels and never wanting to try anything "too hard."
I am very strong but my aerobic excercise could use some work (ie: I will walk for miles and miles (at least 10-20 miles per week now), BUT its still just walking! I cant run for the life of me; I do kickboxing, step aerobics, aerobic DVD's, etc...but they all feel moderate to me...a bit out of breath, but nothing to complain about!)
anyways, I would love the complete workout, I wasnt even aware that it had all that! We were just talking about it at work when my coworker came in hobbling one day (this is a guy who is 6'8", 350 lbs, and had SOLID workouts daily!!)

Coolio, I'll upload them in a bit. What's cool about it is a lot of the work outs barely use weights, it uses your body weight for a lot of it. They do a lot of pull ups too. Most people can't do very many or none at all. So you'll probably want to get some resistance bands and use those to start off with, they demonstrate how to do everything with either free weights or bands.
I went out and bought a pull up bar, yoga mat, and some free weights.
Here is a video that shows you what equipment you'll need.
