Holy man, that's crazy. I do 8x56 lbs flat dumbbell press in 4th set. Well, I've never really tried more because there aren't any bigger dumbbells in gym where I train and I'm too lazy to stack plates on custom dumbbell bars. :p I think I could do like 6-8x67 lbs, though.
What's you flat barbell bench press 1RM?

And that I do 8x144 lbs in 4th set at most, hardly doing last 2-3 repetitions.
Looking at those weights, you really are beast. :p |

last time I was with him I think it was 275ish
then again, he was only on the 80s at that point so hes a lot stronger now hehe.
you gotta get higher weights though meng, if you go for strength training in a month you can hit the 90s. i usually do 60-80s and was able to do a set or two with the 90s when I tried. |

Hmm, I expected more than 275 lbs, but okay, I trust that he got stronger since then. :p A friend of mine is 19 years old (or so) and he has the best genetics I have ever seen, he did 3x311 lbs in front of me, I couldn't believe my eyes...
As for me, I'm not concerned with weights, the most important thing to me is that I'm in shape and that I look good. :p Although, like I mentioned earlier, chest is my weakest muscle group. For example, I do a lot more with legs. Even back when I was at 138 lbs I could do like 6x200 lbs squats and 8x511 lbs leg press (yeah, I know it's an easy exercise).
Anyway, I'll try to improve chest weights at least a bit, I haven't done barbell presses in a while, gotta start doing those again. :)
What's your advice for best gains in lifting weights? |

How come?
I always do flat bench press first so if I do like 155-166 lbs in last set, I can hardly do 122 lbs on incline... |
