try walking up those stairs carrying about 40% of your body weight, it sucked...I have this law book that I need to take to the new place but I really just want to burn it because it weights a ton. Anyhow gonna start my trek...gonna skip my upper body completely and just do legs/back tomorrow, should be "fun"

^^^I admit it is fun and that's the main reason I do it but sometimes I want to do nothing but when I do nothing I want to go workout or play some type of sport. I can't keep still for too long or I fall asleep :toothless

Feels good to be back in the gym. Funny how I figured that once the Spring semester was over, I was going to have all the time in the world to go to the gym. But I didn't make it in once all Summer.
Now, I've deliberately scheduled my Fall classes so that I'll have a 3 hour break in the day so that I can go. |

So I decided to come here for help. Ok here is the deal, I want to get more in shape and build some muscle for tennis. I play tennis from 9-3 5 days a week and from 2-4 on saturday during the summer, and I only play after school for two hours once school starts. My question for you guys is what are some good exercises I should be doing to work on abs arms, back and legs. PS i dont really like to go to the gym...so yeah...

^^^ohhh I wish I played tennis that often, back in the day I would hit around with my brother and sister for hours at a time...guessing from your schedule, you have a coach of some kind so what does s/he recommend that you do? I'm assuming you are asking the c0r because you don't want to do what they suggest and want options.

if you are that active I am sure you can get creative with your workouts, you know better than anyone else how your style of play can sink if don't have the stamina to play out a long point or dig yourself out of a hole so if I were you I would do that running thing...sprints too. Free weights in your room, push ups, chin ups, lunges, get a ball and do every type of crunch you can think of, use the ball while doing push ups/back extensions/wall sits/etc, maybe jump some rope. You don't really need a lot of power...I don't know, you seem pretty serious about tennis so might be helpful meeting with a real trainer once to go over some stuff.
