I have 2 one scoop glasses a day. |

spot training doesn't work, if you're trying to get rid of love handles you have to decrease your body fat as that seems to be the first place your body stores it and last place your body feeds from. more cardio, perhaps a little less sodium and more lean muscle mass will help immensely.
Masonious has spoken. :o |
he's so right, you will be amazed how much weight you'll lose by decreasing sodium...my mom lost 30lbs in a year by simply decreasing sodium intake, she changed ABSOLUTELY nothing else |

I have a running question.
I havent been able to run since the middle of college because I have bad knees (not in every day life, just when I run). I played fastpitch in highschool and was not very kind to them back then, and now I cant run for more than five minutes without feeling like theyre going to grind away to nothing.
So my question has two parts I guess. Has anyone found a wrap or a brace that helps and isnt too restrictive? And the second part is can I do resistance exercises to help the problem (I have MDI in my shoulder and that used to help A LOT).
Im thinking that maybe I just need to ween myself back into it, maybe with the c25k program or something.
What do you guys think? Im getting sick of the elliptical. |

What surface do you run on? Concrete and such? Dirt and grass are always best, and easier on the feet and joints. I don't use a brace, nor can I recommend you one. I suggest getting a referral to an orthopedist from your doctor and ask for custom fit supports or braces for your knees. Also, Custom fit running shoes, though expensive, are worth the cost if you care about your feet, knee's, hips, and back (Which are all effected by your posture, which is determined by your feet!) |

I just read this post. I'd be careful when messing with your sodium levels. Sodium is very important for your body. When on a low sodium diet, it's a very good idea not to drink a lot of water due to the fact that water intoxication can occur more easily. Be very careful. |

I'd guess that he was relating to the fact that his mum maybe took too much sodium before, and was cutting down. Any overweight person I know, I always see them putting way too much salt on their food...I'm guessing moderation is the key ;) |

| I'm going to do cardio right now. I might be in the best athletic shape of my life right now, or very close to it, but not neccesarily the best bodybuilding shape. Maybe I'll post pics when I get back. |

Whatve you been doing @@
also, ANG...if your knees are fooked...running isnt for you any more. if its just tendons you can do exercises, but the grinding sounds like you either built up scar tissue inside the knee or lost cartilage in a needed spot...braces are for hydrostatic pressure and position, and wont help.
go see a doctor! |
