Tabata is intervals for anything, not just weights.
You do 20 seconds of 90 - 100% effort, then rest ten seconds. Then you do that seven more times, for a total of 8 x 30 seconds or 4:00.
You can use it on sprints, cycling, bodyweight exercises, weightlifting, whatever. It's good for getting some really intense cardio work in a very short time.

It is pretty killer. I would try starting out with 4-5 sets and working up to 8. |

| Getting sloppy the last few months. I've maintained my weight in the lower 230s and only passed the 240 pound mark on a few occassions, but it's ing genetics, my pops looks like a grizzly bear. started running 2 weeks ago and working back on plyometrics to get the explosive reactions on my legs again. Chest and shoulder every other day and arms and legs the following. The trick to getting your arms ripeed and to the max during strenght training, you have to push yourself on the reps till your muscles fail and keep doing it after about a minute's rest. I have a lot of catching up to do to get in shape again, patience and determination is the key. |

yeah.. sadly im probably not 140 super lean anymore.
i wouldnt mind 155 at 6% bodyfat. but im probably 137 10 % now.
ugh.. well no matter just need to go heavy hard again.
how many chinups can you do at 197? don't brag about your weight unless you can lift it at least 10 times. |

| That reminds me of the video of some guy on crossfit knocking out 100 chinups in 3 minutes. That guy was jacked. |
