well it's she not he :) but yeah i'm not saying eliminate sodium i'm just saying limit salt intake. i think of it like osmosis, like your body wants to equal out sodium levels so holds more water weight than necessary. |

I have a running question.
I havent been able to run since the middle of college because I have bad knees (not in every day life, just when I run). I played fastpitch in highschool and was not very kind to them back then, and now I cant run for more than five minutes without feeling like theyre going to grind away to nothing.
So my question has two parts I guess. Has anyone found a wrap or a brace that helps and isnt too restrictive? And the second part is can I do resistance exercises to help the problem (I have MDI in my shoulder and that used to help A LOT).
Im thinking that maybe I just need to ween myself back into it, maybe with the c25k program or something.
What do you guys think? Im getting sick of the elliptical. |

Thought Id bump.
Im 184 in the morning now. Its been about 3 months since the hep took me down to 155 lbs:
this is from the party camera so the quality is e!

im starting the slimming process trying to get down to 175 or so for summer cuz the abs are hellish and I generally look soft.
Im starting to feel balance between chest and back and upper body and lower body. Been focusing on growing everything not just trying to get a HUGE this or that. Still a lot of work to do, but im happy ive recovered haha. This winter ill probably be hitting 195-200 but for now my goal is 175 for start of summer and hopefully from here on out the pictures will become more and more defined >.< |

goddamn, i was actually looking for this thread too.
I took our Physical Fitness Test for the AF the other day.
# of pushups in one minute: 62 [i could have actually done more, i think, but that is the max amount pointwise, so i stopped]
# of situps in one minute 55 [same as above]
1.5 mile run time: 12:24. i used to run faster back in college [lol, like that was *so* long ago]...usually around 11:00 flat or less. my fastest time evar was 10:14 at that was at Field Training.
Waist measurement - 31"
Total score, 87.5 pts out of 100. i was pretty happy with it. passing is 75. |

uhmmm it was getting off of anti-depressants, lowering drinking quotient and increasing protein shakes. Im too freakin poor to afford noxplode and stuff so I just steal it from masonious before hard workouts.
lots of sleep, and very intense workouts. Masonious and I watched Pumping Iron and then had a couple crazy work outs. You realize how much of a bitch youve been when you see someone shoulder pressing what you max at on bench..
been mixing it up a lot lately too..
dunno I feel that ive just been eating more and working out harder |
