Yeah, I've always got at least one race planned ahead to have something to work towards. It keeps you motivated to go out and run. |

| I ran the last five days. Thinking about doing 6 or maybe taking a day off. This is why I need to sign up for a race. I feel like I'm just screwing around, and not really training. |

Wow running in 90 degree temperature with 70% humidity ftw!

I'm sweating like a mongrel, ps I didn't do HIIT just did a 2 mile quick run. My cardio is still pretty good but I'm winded as .
Also never running without boxer briefs again, my boys were all over the place slapping my face and . Like at my first sprint they were out the boxer hole lol it was hilarious I had to stop and organize my stuff. |

Did a 10k tempo today, first 5k in 24.27, 2nd in 23.23. Finished with a 1k cool-down.
As I decided not to participate in the marathon in two weeks, I figured it's time to do some speed work and try and set some new PR's in the second half of the year. |

That's not too bad. I'm doing 80 myself for 6 reps, 4 sets. You have to switch it up! Take a week off shoulders, then go to the squat rack or smith, and start shoulder pressing straight bar. don't work them more than 2 times a week. Do this for 3 weeks, then go back to dumb bells and u should be able to push a bit more. lastly, EAT! |

well im eating really well. there is only a 500 caloric deficit that im instituting for fat loss, but im still eating 2500-2600 calories. i usually go three workouts all out and the 4th one i back off and do lighter weights- to switch it up a bit. i was thinking that might be why i cant get past the 65's but it makes no sense cuz shoulder work is teh only thing being affected... |
