You're just looking for an excuse to pat everyone on the ass.

Dear gym-goers,
Please don't stand behind the treadmills when people are running on them. Holding farts is not always easy, and jogging makes it all the more difficult not to break wind.
And I can't help but chortle whenever I gush copious amounts of buttane at someone's face.
I hope yesterday was the last time it happened.
xoxoxoxox,

God ing damn it... I still have a bad back. It started feeling sore before Christmas while I was doing some temporary work at a mail depot. I just assumed it was standard soreness from the work, especially after I got flu and had general muscle aches and weakness. However, while the rest of it has gone the base of my spine is still painful. I just tried going back on the weights and I could barely lift a 50kg barbell off the floor. There was no way I was doing anything with it, so I had to drop it because I couldn't lower it smoothly to the floor.
Given it's been exactly two weeks since I worked and I'm still feeling it, I'm starting to get worried. Will have to make an appointment with a GP next week. At least I can still do pull-ups... |

I've got a bad back, too. It goes out every few months and then there's nothing to do but stay in bed for a couple days to a week.
If I don't rest up like that, it takes longer to get better. |

| Not that your guys' backs aren't just as important to you, but man I would be ed if I threw out my back. Goodbye successful career. |

i used to have a bad back (well i still kinda do), and one particular injury in the summer of 09 really did a number on it. i would feel it for months afterwards (well into the winter), and sleeping flat on my back was the only option. if i tried to shift to my side the pain would become unbearable within 5 minutes.
after some months of doing solely strength exercises, I can say with absolute confidence that my back hasn't been this good in a few years now. it's in better condition now then even before my injury. it still gets sore every now and then, but nothing like before and i can feel that it's more stable.
my shoulder pain, which has been with me for like 10 years (off and on) seems to have disappeared too... *knock on wood* |

Currently cutting while still maintaining muscle mass.
Now instead of deadlifts (maxed out only at 405lbs) i started doing rack pulls....saves ur back alot.
I'm trying to get DB flat press up to 120lbs..i almost had it (was maxing out at 110's) but then ibroke my collarbone snowboarding.
Shoulders are my weakest link. I recently started doing Standing military presses but i cant do more than 2x 35 plates + the bar. Im trying to get to 45lbs, but its gonan take a lot of work |

Irrelevant. Learn to argue. You're not making the claim "It's a healthier way of creating a calorific deficit", you're making the claim it's easier. Which is wrong. Of course, you're also denying that you're making this argument despite repeating it over and over, because you're a backtracking, self-contradictory wit.

you forgot to add Efficient
And yes i do believe eating low energy (calorie) dense food is a more EFFICIENT AND YES EASIER way to maintain a caloric deficit.
(the concept of more mass less calories to satiate, the whole issue of fats being more calorie dense then carbs and proteins etc)

and for the record, i only contradicted myself once in this thread, with regards to the saturated fats and eggs, then clearly admitted and posted the correct facts with regards to that.
You're going to call me an idiot because i referenced a journal article, go ahead. You've provided nothing but a foul mouth this entire discussion. |
