just got in from the gym. feeling really productive and motivated today, so i'll share with you all :D i've been trying to cut weight for quite some time now and i seem to have finally escaped a plateau that i hit. my strength is increasing again, and i'm really upping the workout intensity where i can.
cardio has always been my weakest area since i started, as when i started my calves would lock up after cardio that was more than a mile. gradually as i lost weight i could run further but i just havent pushed myself as i shouldve been. recently i've been anal about getting it done and it's showing off. the next step, since it's nice out and my allergies are calming down, i'll begin running outdoors in the morning again.
im already in the best shape i've been in, which isn't to say all that much, but i'm really looking to impress even myself. from time to time since i'm getting back into gear, ill probably drop by here and bump this thread with updates
also, surprise tax refund money FTW! apparently forgot a section and they reimbursed me. money is going straight to investing in new protein and such :) |

U just need a need a good kick up the A, hehe. Still going strong, though I've been eating a bit more on the tier side than usual, but it does aid in making gains a bit quicker. |
somewhat, i haven't gained weight though so that's good. i'm itching to get back into my normal routine but with work it's been hard...plus i keep getting colds. i do walk like i said a couple miles sometimes, that's the beauty of nyc you walk everywhere and carry everything yourself...forced to exercise. |

| Alright, I've been really stepping it up lately. I've already been lifting weights 4 times a week, but now I'm doing HIIT in the mornings 5 days a week. Hoping to get nice and lean by summer... we'll see how this goes. |

Extremely bad idea. You shouldn't do HIIT if you didn't eat at least 2-3 times that day. It'll cause way too much catabolism. I suggest low intensity cardio, it's way safer, trust me. |

| Eh, I've only been doing it for 10 minutes (which is about all I have time for in the mornings), which is just enough to get my blood moving. And it's about the only time I can get it done without having to do weights/cardio back to back in the evenings. Plus I'm eating my full breakfast 15-20 minutes later (usually have a snack before hand). I'm not trying to get bulky, I lift for strength/endurance, so I'm not concerned if I lose a bit of muscle. |

I just did 15 mins of HIIT Cardio. Result: I threw up.
Been quite lazy past few months so I guess it was to be expected. Diet's been off too. I'm so out of shape now!
I'm trying to complement the 100 push-ups a day routine I've just begun with a couple of days of HIIT Cardio. Gotta ease into it I guess. |
