i do those in a set with tricep presses on the pulley machine and forward raises.. although i use 7.5lb weights, they do the job.

big fail.. i ran 6 minutes and my legs hurt.. so i stopped.. tomorrow i am going to go try running in the trail with my futbol shoes and see if that hurts as well...


if it does, i am going to the doctor, if it doesnt, i am buying a new pair of shoes.

Oh hell, lol. You shouldn't even think of roids until your at least 23, have been training hard for 2 years, have an impeccable diet, and have done a ton of reading. Know what supps you need to be taking on the cycle, and most importantly, proper PCT aides!! Last thing you want to do is come off a cycle with your balls shut down, and no PCT aides to get the jewels running on their own again. If your really wanting to do it, check out H-Drol, then go from there. Growth Hormone I would use, but it's at least $1000 per dose.

BTW I have never used or really want to go down that path, but roid use is very common.

Does anyone use calipers here to measure their body fat levels, if so which methods are accurate? I don't exactly have access to accurate underwater testing as Im sure most of you do not either.

The reason I'm asking is since I went on my first real "clean bulk", I gained good 45 pounds of mass(to 175), and thought I had kept enough cardio and a consistent diet to have atleasted maintained my original bf(10), I tested on on of those machines where you place your bare feet and hands and signals are sent through to determine your body composition. I had rised 6 percent.

Since then I have dropped to 165, Ive really just been doing random self sustainable excercises(pullups, pushups, yoga)as well as cardio at home on an eliptical). I want to get back in the gym to hit the weights and start bulking abit, but I need a sure method to measure bf levels.

Use this formula:


Multiply your weight x 1.082 = nude factor

Add nude factor + 94.42 = weight factor

Take waist measurement at navel x 4.150 = waist factor



Weight factor - waist factor = lean body mass

Weight nude - lean body mass = your body fat

Your body fat/weight nude x 100 = your % body fat

thanks for this, but it seems flawed for a few reasons

1.height? 2 guys with a 2 foot difference in height are surely not gonna have the same BF if they have the same waist measurement and weight.

2. People have different fat distribution to different areas of the body, and therefore a single waist measurement cannot be a real accurate input for the entire body.

I understand this is obviously a rough check, but I was reffering to those systems where you pinch fat in over a dozen areas of the body, and measure it with one of those nifty calipers(looks like a stapler remover). there are multiple formulas for this caliper method and I was interested in which on is the most effective in your opinions.

Look buddy, it's just an easy way to estimate if you don't have calipers. You'll find that it's not that far off though. ;)

Ya I know I would never really do it. I do have HGH tablets at my house but I don't know if they would have those effects. Either way I'm just gonna start taking some creatine or something. I also ran out of my protein so I need to get some a new batch.
