a friend of mine got me to change my workout schedule, which was due to happen anyway since ive been lifting for about 2 months again. we did an all chest workout today. he's a beast and i kept up with him in weight and almost in reps, pretty proud of myself |

ran 2 miles again - more pullups; more dips; more arm weights.
i'm mainly focusing on my arms and shoulders for now. running gets my cardio in; and helps keep the legs in good shape - but want to kind of get the "guns" a little bigger. nothing ridiculous ; just a bit more than they are. so we'll see how things go. i really want to stick to a MWF workout period. but with upcoming shiftwork and changing schedules, that might be hard to do. |

An excellent bicep exercise is hammer grip pull ups. You get a major pump doing 3-4 sets as many as you can do. |

hammer curls are when your palms are faced inwards (hands at side) while curling.
i LOVE doing supersets of:
regular curls
hammer curls
incline curls (curls on an incline bench) |

Hammer curls are intense, one of my favorite arm exercises.
There's this arm machine at my gym where you sit and place your arms on a pad in front of you and do curls like normal. The only thing that's weird about it is it has 3 different pegs in different positions to place weights on. They work like this: when weights are on the middle peg it's like doing a normal curl, when they're on the forward most peg it's like doing a top heavy curl, when they're on the back most peg it's like doing a bottom heavy curl. Then you can mix and match and place weights in the middle and either side.
Anyone else have something like that? It's crazy, but it will totally destroy your arms. The good destroy :p |

I have that machine and use it every time i do bis
I do it with 2 45lbs plates on all 3 positions.
You can actually do 5 exercises on this machine, but i do 3
It kills my forearms more than bis |

I do all 5. This guy showed me something I never thought of doing on it. Basically you lift the weight up as fast as you can and slowly slowly slooowwwllllyyy bring it down, then lift back up as fast as you can and repeat until you crap your pants.
Or puke. |
