Well, when i was regularly working out, I'd run 3 miles a session in about 20 mins and then concentrate on weights. Worked out well for me :) |
Anaerobic workout should always come before aerobic workout.

theys ay that naythign other than light cardio is bad for workouts cuz you burn all your glycogen reserves and just tear yourself up :\ |
Although I don't understand the first part of what he said, he's correct, you burn your glycogen reserves with aerobic workout and then you're too weak for anaerobic (weights). |

Yeah always do cardio after lifting. But drink your muscle milk or whatever after weightlifting and before cardio. You need that protein right after. |

| What if you split up your cardio? 10 mins in the beginning, weight lift, followed by 15-20 mins after? That's what I do, the 10 min run in the beginning tends to get me pretty energized to work out. Only problem is running an additional 15 mins after the workout, I get pretty lazy and only do like 7 or 8 :p |

| I do cardio on a bike so only my legs get tired out. Still leaves me enough energy for the upper body workout |

| I hate doing cardio on the bikes, never feels like I'm getting anything done. |

I was doing physio therapy today and this large women on the treadmill got on it and 3 minutes after running she broke the machine :wtf: We were all staring like,"what..the..helll?"
I hate the bike and the elliptical, makes my knees hurt. I can run for ever on a treadmill but stick me on either of those, and I can't do it for more than 10 minutes. |
