| HELLS YEAH! Repped 250x4 today en la bench press. By my calculations, that comes to 280 1RM. Sure, the last rep was butt off the bench, but that's how it was with 225 a while ago and now it's like butter. 300, here I come! |

After an hour or so your body will start sending a signal to store fat which you don't want. I went the path of supplements and, while expensive, I saw excellent gains - especially with NO-Xplode.
|
No Xplode is great, I find myself so much more alert and aware, within minutes of taking it...plus there was one day when I trained without taking it, and the weights seemed so much heavier...it definitely seems to work. |

mel losing those last couple pounds is bitch, i'm working on the same thing but won't go hardcore until my team loses in the playoffs. anyhow, portion control and water intake could help you substancially plus now you live in the city so you are walking a ton and not just normal walking but new york city walking which i find extremely agressive. anyhow you'll have to carry your groceries home in a bag so you'll build your strength there too. you'll be surprised how much exercise you get in the city just doing normal stuff like laundry. |
thx.
i actually have my car here so i don't walk with groceries. Brooklyn is *actually* drive-able. I work in the city though. I also think birth control is what's making me gain so much weight. I weigh 106 but wanna go down to my normal weight [100] !!!!!!!!

I would not be doing cardio in an attempt to cut. Walking at an incline for 20-25 minutes will burn more fat and maintain more muscle. However, breaking your treadmill session off from your workout is a good idea. And don't touch the treadmill the day before, of or after a legs day.
|
Will running really cause significant loss in mass/strength, even with suitable protien intake and weight workouts? The thing is, cutting isn't my only goal--I like to get out and run and sweat, and be in the best shape I can possibly be in (both in strength and cardio).
I'll definately give the incline treadmill a try, though. I know that distance running isn't the best fat burning workout becuase of the steady state effects.

How much do you weigh and much protein are you taking in during the day? |
I weigh about 168~, and I get at least 100g of protien a day, but probably more (I haven't been keeping close count, but I'll go ahead and start doing so). I'll usually have a few scoops of whey protien throughout the day. |

when i saw you a couple weeks back at t-ny you looked fine, but i know how you feel about losing those last couple pounds...anyhow even though you live in brooklyn and have a car you'll STILL find yourself walking ESPECIALLY if you work in the city. once it gets warm you'll be in prospect park and stuff. |

type not brand. You want the combined whey, egg, casein etc should be extended release multi type.
and to clarify, syntha is the easiest to drink. no in clumpppps
also the ones with calories are for after strength training, the ones that are pure protein and your everything else |
