if ur a chick and u have nice legs, um just do squats!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! it is one of the best exercises. dont go so heavy and just do 4-5 sets of 8-12 reps, nothing heavy. afterwards just ride a bike or do cardio for half an hour or so. |
so for 45min squats and cardio and some abs. as for using weights muscle mass kicks up the metabolism plus i want to feel it. |

yep. 4-5 sets of squats should take u 15 minutes or less , then the next 30-45 minutes, do cardio.. if u do abs alot(3+ times) during the week , then u can skip them on legs day. |

A very very contraversial question here.
I am working out 4 times a week.
I push myself hard and do high weight/ low reps for maximum mass/strength increase.
I am wondering if it actually hurts you to do lots of cardio(15min running 2miles, and 15 minutes biking 3.5 miles) and not consuming a lot of calories, still consume lots of proteins just not that many calories.
Will that burn my fat, while increasing my muscle mass or will it hurt me?
Is it actually possible to be burning fat while gaining lean muscle?
Lots of different websites say different things, so I would like to get your opinion on this. |

| Consumption of calories is the important thing here. You want just enough to power your workouts and the rest of your day. You're bound to lose weight while gaining quite a bit of muscle (although it'll take you longer to see significant results, due to your approach). |

depends on how many calories ur body uses up.. on average males use up between 1400-1800*/ day just living..so that means ur body needs that much just on a normal day... (*relative to how much u weigh, and what u do during the day).

ok there is way too much to explain here. ill let the site talk for me.. read the following article.. follow the plan.. i did and in 2 months (without any cardio) my body fat went from 15% to about 11% right now.. im gonna start doing cardio when march hits and i should be retarded ripped.

Too high intensity for the rest of the body.
If you want great results, quick, isolate the abs and obliques. |
