Crazy workouts. Whatever youve been doing that you think is crazy, it isnt.
lots of food throughout the day in the form of oatmeal, sandwiches, and steak.
lots of water.
lots of sleep. |

Anyone capable of doing a one-handed pull-up? Cause I'm trying to tackle it after getting one-handed push ups down, and it's a ing bitch. Even being able to do 3 sets of 8 pull ups with 75 pounds I can't even do a single one-handed.
And no, I'm not talking about the psuedo-one handed pull-ups where you hold your lifting hand with your other hand. |

well of course your workouts have to be crazy because you've been in the iron scene longer than the rest of us beginner/novice trainees. Our bodies aren't capable of handling such volume/frequency. |

| I'm with Orbax when you first start working out you think whatever you are doing is crazy and it is compared to doing nothing BUT that doesn't mean you are doing enough to reach some of your goals. It's about progression so if something hasn't been working for a substantial amount of time you aren't doing enough whether it be enough weights or it could be as simple as not sleeping enough or not eating well enough. |

I dont think I ever said do more @.@
standard workout:
3x8-10 flat barbell bench with too light of weight and no warmup
3 sets of biceps curls
3 sets of seated rows
maybe a few more sets of flat barbell.
what you should be doing:
Incline barbell bench:
1x12 135
1x10 185
1x8 215
1x8 185
1x12 135
t-bar rows
1x12 45
1x12 90
1x12135
1x6 225 into a strip of till failure back down to 45:
1xfailure 135
1xfailure 90
1xfailure 45
incline barbell flies
1x12 60s
1x10 70s
1x6 80s
1x10 60s
1x10 50s
Seated close grip rows
1x 10 165
1x10 185
1x10 215
2x12 160
dips
4x12
Those are things you do need to work up to, which is almost so obvious it shouldnt be mentioned, but realize that if youve been don the same thing for a while, its time to either start adding 5lbs to every exercise you do every time you go in, or just mix it up, try some new stuff, and make sure you are getts lots of different exercises |
